Eliza is an American Bully who has anxiety that contributes to her reactivity and has worked really hard with confidence building through climbing, digging, and finding what activities are enriching to her. She recently got a little GSP brother who moon lights as a speed racer & excavator. Their 6 foot fence was recently put in and it is now safe space to share with others. Being a Reactive Dog Mom is my whole personality and I am excited to let others have access to a space to explore. All equipment is dog friendly. Fully fenced yard with +6ft fencing. No gaps in beteeen the fence so it is totally cut off from any sight into other yards. There is one small dog that very rarely is outside but it’s never for long. And we have wood panels pushed up under the fence so there’s no way for any dogs that are in my yard to see it be near anybody’s in surrounding yards. I also have two kiddie pools (one for small breed) and one 71inch pool for any large breed dogs that would like to go in the water to play. I have plenty of toys and balls to keep them busy and a doggy bed covered outside. I myself have a reactive dog so I am well aware of the protocol for them. My dog would be with me out away in my room so there would be no chance of your dog seeing or hearing mine. My backyard is VERY well shaded as we have tonssss of trees out back to provide shade and chairs for anyone who wants to sit. The Red Door Salt Creek Sanctuary - Fully Fenced 1/2 Acre

We live a short, straight-shot drive from Chicago and are butt-up against the beautiful Salt Creek (and all the wild life that also calls the creek "home" - bunnies, squirrels, groundhogs, birds, garden snakes (harmless, but present in May), etc.). The head of Salt Creek Trail is located just a block away on Thomas Street, so feel free to explore the creek/trail after your yard time. It leads all the way to Villa Park, where you can catch the Prairie Path / Great Western Trail. You'll pass by MORE Brewing Company as well as outdoor bar and food trucks Fuel and Creme (ice cream). Make a day of it! Please note that even though the yard IS fully fenced, it is comprised of a variety of sizes shapes ranging from 6 feet privacy, raw iron, to 4 foot chain-link, barn wood with chicken wire between the wood gaps. You know your dog's "flight risk" better than anyone, so please make smart decisions when booking our yard. Dispose of poop bags in the BLUE TOP bin (green is recycle).
