We have a lovely large, mostly open, yard that offers a wonderful spot with room for dogs to run. The property is on a slope, with a bit of an incline, and beautiful views from the top. Logan's Heroes Animal Rescue has a large fenced in yard that is also used as a training yard for events at the rescue known as The Beacon Training Field. This is a fully fenced in yard with approximately 4 and half foot high fencing. Nice area to privately play ball or let dogs play. All proceeds from the usage of the yard benefit Logan's Heroes Animal Rescue. Please clean up after your dog and keep this area clean for the next person. Please note that this is at our rescue where we do adoption appointments. You may see other dogs in the driveway or walking in and out of our office. Weekends tend to be our busiest time for adoptions and when most people are visiting other areas of the farm.

The yard is .36 acres with a patio in between a large and small grass area. The yard is fully fenced but is currently undergoing small repairs. Small dogs should be watched. There is full shade in the morning, half sun and half shade in the early afternoon and full sun later in the day. The deck has shade from about 3pm on. You may see my neighbor tending to her chickens or chit chatting with the surrounding neighbors. She has a small friendly dog. Seat cushions are in the deck box. There will be a container with items for your use.

There is a patio with table and chairs for humans to relax. front yard has a hill with a long driveway for some great exercise and backyard is fully fenced. Playground set for small children to use while the doggies run free without disturbance. The trampoline is off limits; please do not use it. Feel free to use the hose to fill your dog’s water bowl. In winter, the water is turned off. If you want to enjoy the lush (not fenced) front yard, relax in the Adirondack chairs and watch the sunset or sunrise. The view is stunning. This setting is named after our beautiful late German Shepherd, Cheyenne, who lives on in our hearts forever.

Theyard is about 3500 to 4000 ft.² around the side of the yard is an area with a table and chairs also a small screened in porch that you are welcome to use with your pup! I will make sure that there is a dog bowl and bags for picking up poop available for you. Trash cans are right as you soon as you park! If your dog is not reactive, or if you are working on reactivity, there is gate that exits out through the other side of our yard and you enter the Wissahickon Trail, you are more than welcome to walk the public trail with your leashed dog!  Also, the patio and chairs is a great spot for people who are working from home. You’re more than welcome to hang out there while your dog get some sniffs and energy out. Come relax by a tranquil pond and waterfall with over a 1/2 acre of scenic running grounds for your fur buddy. There is plenty of parking, fully fenced yard and lots of trees for territory marking opportunities. Yet, wide open spaces for ball throwing, chasing, or getting the zoomies. No dogs live on the property (she recently left this world), so there is plenty of privacy. Over the last 25 years, 6 dogs have lived here, more than 15 have fostered waiting for adoption, and over 10 have regularly boarded while their parents vacationed with peace of mind.
