Taylor pond is a 5 acre pond located in the heart of Poway. The amenities include a grass yard and yard in the back filled with wood chips and a eucalyptus grove as well of course as the pond. Keep in mind when you bring your dog we turn to work in the yard and also rent out a building in the back to Airbnb. So please make sure your dog is friendly with people.

"This field is huge! My dogs had an amazing time running around and exploring 😍 There is shade under the trees, and the part that wasn't fenced in wasn't an issue for us. If your dogs don't have solid recall, stick to the fenced side. The whole place is so big, you shouldn't have a problem getting a good amount of walking/running in, without coming too close to the un-fenced side. I walked around for about 2 miles, and I'm guessing my dogs probably did twice that 😆 The host was nice and allowed extra time, because I took a wrong turn coming there and was late to my booked time. We will definitely be back."

Great space, has almost like a mini summer camp feel with boats, hammocks, swings. We were there for 1.5 hours and it was perfect for my dogs. We did see a few people during our time there. I walked around the found several times while my dogs were in and out of the water.

We had an absolute blast at Taylor Pond! The property is gorgeous and well-maintained and my dog loved zooming on the path around the pond, chasing ducks, and sniffing everything. It was also a great birding location and I even saw a couple green heron. The host was very friendly and so were his other human guests who were at the pond fishing. We did not see any dogs there. My pup was very dirty after a swim in the pond and a roll in the dirt so be prepared. There is a spot for water, toys, and hosing off your dog. My dog is reactive to other dogs so it was great to be able to let loose and explore without worry. We will definitely be back!

This was a great spot and my dog had a great time. It was easy to find and there was a hose to fill the water bowl and rinse. We weren’t sure if the pond was safe for swimming but we didn’t ask either. For my reactive friends, there is a trail on the back side of the pond where we saw other dogs but there was a fence and bushes in between us and the trail. There are ducks on the pond too. We saw a few people on the property but they stayed away for the most part. There is also a hammock, a swing, a tether ball, and a storage container with climbing rocks that got us hoomans entertained too. Make sure to bring poop bags. We definitely plan on coming back.

Second time here and another fun jaunt! Today Molly tried the tetherball and I was amazed at her prowess! She also stopped listening to me tell her not go to in the water, so needed a good hosing off! We passed the senior dog who lives here; a sweet border collie who was a greeter as my car drove towards the actual fenced-in Sniffspot area. Senior pup was on the other side of the Sniffspot area, so safe from being barked at and herded by my pup!

Cool spot. Large space. Had a swing, tire swing, and a tetherball. Super dope. There were people in the fenced off area and our dog is a bit unpredictable when it comes to deciding whether or not to jump on people, so it was a little bit nerve wracking . Other than that, the spot was nice. My pup has never showed interest in water so it caught me by surprise when he got excited over the ducks and jumped in after them!! Bring a towel! My beautiful car interior got tarnished by mud. But the space made it worth it! 😁 until next time. Peace and Love

This was my first time using Sniffspot, and we will definitely come back! There is ample space, it’s well-fenced, and well-maintained. The foxtails are even few and far between, if such things are a concern for your dog. My dog does not like water, but even she enjoyed the smells of the pond and the wildlife it attracted.

My doggos had such an amazing time here! Perfect amount of shade and walking trails. The host was very friendly and guided us to the correct parking spot (remember to drive all the way back until you see the sign). I would suggest taking older leashes/harnesses, as they’ll need a good wash after some play time in the pond and dirt. Also, don’t forget your baggies for dog waste. Overall, I would highly recommend!

One hour of pure bliss for my pup Molly! She ran her legs off around the pond chasing ducks, frogs, birds, and watching a neighbor's fishing techniques. Rogue had a blast here. She loved popping in and out of the pond and running all around. Multiple barge type tie outs and she explored each one. There were a variety of ducks in the pond but my girl did not bother them. Bring multiple towels as your dog will get pretty muddy after being in the water.
