Our property is a mix of 2 open pastures, and trails through the woods. There is a smaller totally fenced in area (former goat enclosure) that’s great for working on recall and scent work. We have 2 houses with yards at the address. Simply follow the driveway past the yards to the Spot behind. When you see the white barn, you’re there! Feel free to roam and play. Off leash is fine as long as your friend has good recall. Our dogs have their own fenced yards up at the houses. Our property borders a riding stable on one side, so you may see horses and riders. On the other side of the property is a shooting range (about a mile away) so if your pooch is gun shy be aware you could hear shots.

(PLEASE READ THOROUGHLY) *we may have limited availability until the end of hunting season.* THIS IS AN ACTIVE FARM. YOU MAY SEE FARM EQUIPMENT NEAR THE BARN, ETC. Come enjoy our little paradise! Sugar Creek runs through the back of our property. You are welcome to enjoy it, just be careful while walking the trails. We do have chickens and turkeys on the front of the property. PLEASE leash your dogs until you are on the trail. It’s also very important to leave on time and not show up early. We have multiple guests a day and we need to let our dogs out as well during the day. If you do arrive early, please sit on the 1/4 mile driveway until your allotted time. If you are late, just send us a message if you would like to stay after your scheduled time to make up for being late. We may be out with our dogs doing chores in between guests. We want to continue to host for SniffSpot but we are having issues with people going over allotted time, allowing their dogs to chase our animals, and wandering around spots that are not for guests. All we ask is that guests are respectful of our animals and our property. Our house is not part of the SniffSpot. Please do not bring your dogs up to the front of our house. Our dogs are inside and will see you & start barking. There’s plenty of land to explore!

Another beautiful morning at Max! Love seeing Delbert each time we go there! Love all the little personal touches they do also. Will keep going at least once a week! 30 minute drive but well worth it. 6 hours later and pups still sleeping. Yay!

I always love visiting Max’s playground. It is such a great area as my dog is reactive around other dogs. It’s all fenced in and there are plenty of spots for her to sniff around. I love it and she is always tired out by the end. The host leaves out bags and water throughout the property. It is always clean and well maintained. The only sniff spot I will go to.

Maverick had the best time! This was our first Sniff Spot experience and it did not disappoint! We loved that all the walkways were mowed down clearly creating pathways to follow, they all circled back to the large yard space with a perfect size dog bowl filled with fresh water so no getting lost. After our exploration we played fetch with some of the toys on the swing, and tug of war with the tree rope, before heading home! Max’s Memorial bench was perfectly placed for a nice lunch time resting spot. Maverick got to lay in the shade and I got to enjoy my pasta salad before continuing on our adventures. It was such a nice spot to run my tree hound safely. The host was very kind. You can definitely see their love for Max and understand why this really was his all time favorite spot! Thank you for sharing Max’s memory with us and his beautiful space.

This place is magical! It really (really) exceeded my expectations. I’ve always dreamt of the ability to walk my doggies in the woods, on a trail - and let them just ‘be dogs’ and this place allows you to do just that! There is a huge (I mean huge, maybe the size of a baseball field?) circular area in the center - perfect to play fetch. There are maybe 3 or 4 paths that splinter off the circular area - into really well marked & wide manicured trails around the property. Totally safe and felt really secure & contained. Also: in the center area, there are covered rocking swings and cannopy’s w/ a fire pit for the adults. 15/10 recommend this place! My city doggies are so, so grateful! My timid boy for the first time in his life looked like a confident dog ❤️ Thank you thank you thank you (and max) for the outdoor therapy, we will be back!

Code loves getting to run around the trails and sniff everything he possibly can! There are nice open spots to play, and it is very secure! My pup is nervous of everything after being in the shelter for 4 years, but we don’t have to worry about anything spooking him here! He can relax and decompress the entire time. There are multiple places for trash, and multiple bowls of fresh water! Host is friendly, everything is clean, and all the street signs are such a fun touch! We loved having a mini photo shoot with them!

My friend Sara came with my pups best buds this time! She said it was worth the hour drive, the dogs had SO much fun. Walking along the paths is always sooting and peaceful. Max’s playground was an amazing experience! The host was there waiting for us and made sure we had the best experience possible. My dog loved being able to run & explore the many trails! Sniffspot only allows one booking at a time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the spot during visits. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between bookings.
