This is a dog’s dream, with multiple levels, water play in a resort style pool, fruit trees and flowers galore. Come play or splash in this fully fenced yard off La Tuna Canyon in Los Angeles. *Inclement weather- please be advised that there is no completely covered area in the case of rain, and the pool water is not heated.* SPOT/POOL RULES (please read) *This is a private session for your pets, please supervise your dog at all times. *Two pet parents per dog, please. Additional humans can be added as an extra. Children are not allowed on the site for safety reasons. *The deep end of the pool is up to 9 ft deep. Pets & humans swim at their own risk. The host is not responsible for any liability as there is NO lifeguard on site. *Pet parents are welcome to enter the pool to help and support your dog swimming, but are asked to primarly remain on dry ground. Please note NO BATHROOM is provided. *Please do not touch any pool system control in the backyard. You will be responsible for the damage if misused. *Please watch out for your dogs' activities at all times. The host is not liable for any injuries or damages that could happen to dogs and pet parents. *Please bring your own towels. *Pool is professionally cleaned by the pool cleaning company every Tuesday and there might be pool chemicals. * Before going in the pool please use the provided deshedding brush on long-haired breeds to keep the pool clean. Feel free to use the provided pool skimmer to clean the surface of the pool of any dog hair. *Please close the pool umbrella at the end of your visit if you used it. *No dog treats/human food or glassware in the pool. *Please note there are external security cameras on the side gate entrances and the backyard. Video footage is only accessed should there be security incidents.

We both love dogs and have a 3-year old husky who loves playing and running around in the backyard. We would love to see more dogs enjoy our spacious yard. Please pick up after your dog and make sure they take care of our plants and trees. Please note that, for your safety and ours, the outdoor area is monitored by cameras.

We have an animal rescue, boarding, and training facility. You will see and hear other dogs most likely. They will not be in the park when you reserve it for your dogs. The dog park is 1/2 acre and fully fenced 6’ chain link with snake fencing as well.

DOGGIE SWIM IS AN EXTRA ! Fully fenced in backyard .Private neighborhood in Van Nuys. $21 a pup . The park will be closed on most Wednesdays for pool and yard maintenance but check schedule. Please Note: the swimming pool is for the dogs unless you are helping them in or out of the pool, or training in the shallow end . You are, of course, allowed in the pool during that time. THE POOL IS CONSIDERED AN EXTRA ! It is $12 for a medium sized dog and $17an hour for large and extra large dogs and additional charges per length of appt. Please be honest during your booking . ONE PARENT ONE POOCH ONLY unless prearranged. I will be charging $10 extra if other people show up . There is absolutely no diving , jumping , or doing laps. Please refrain from using Hawaiian Tropic or other suntan products that cloud the water and please BRUSH YOUR PUP before swim to reduce fur in pool. If your pup is prone to excessive shedding or barking we would not be a good match. If you have a dog under 10lbs please let me know ahead of your visit as I have pressure gates for use to prevent your pup from getting through the wrought iron gate . NO CHILDREN! My dog (4 y.o./f mutt, 15 lbs, and very social) is generally inside the house with me, as I work from home, and she can come out to play with your dog if you're looking for a playmate. If not though and your dog prefers solo sniffs, that's okay too! We'll stay inside and give you full privacy. ☀️ Summer note: We lower our sprinkler usage in the hotter months to conserve water. With that, parts of our lawn die back, and the grass is a bit patchy in the summer. During this season, the lawn is not as pristine as I’d like it to be. Let’s just say: I will not be winning any Better Homes & Gardens awards. 😂 Alas, such is life in drought-prone So Cal! I can tell you one thing though: The doggos never seem to mind a bit of patchy grass!

Lovely grassy play area has many trees and seating. The shade from the trees in the afternoon is lovely. We are the longest running SS in the area- hosting doggies since 2020! The Sniffspot play area is from driveway to rear of property. A row of chairs semi-blocks Hosts area of backyard belongings, but it is not a problem for doggoes or hoomans to temporarily go there to sniff, pee and fetch balls. The drought, popularity & watering restrictions do affect the condition of the grass. The rest of the yard is not accessible to Sniffspot including using the bathroom. Fenced backyard area is along side street. Most of the 4-foot fence side street side is covered with privacy slats & landscaping. The chain-link driveway entrance only has privacy slats. You would be the only guest for your booked time. Please securely latch & rechain gate when arriving & departing. Refer to photos.
