55This was a great stop on our road trip to stretch our legs and get a snack for us and our Saint Bernards. It was very easy to find and had a very secure fence.
Some things to note for others: there are neighbor dogs that will bark at you the whole time if they’re outside. They’re a few properties away, but you can definitely still hear and see them. There’s also a lot of wildlife, we saw a few deer and rabbits, so if you have a reactive pup, just exercise caution. There is not water provided, so come prepared. Lastly, do not walk on the property in any sort of sandals! Close toed shoes are a must, otherwise your feet will be all tore up.
All that said, we liked this spot so much we stopped on our way to Jackson WY and on the way back to Ohio. Shea J.

The area was clean and free of anything hazardous and we also saw no other dog poop. There were poop bags and a small trash can with lid provided plus a few dog toys. The fence itself was in good shape with all gates securely closed and locked. Logan Ranch has everything we could want--wide open space, shade, terrain and rocks to climb, ground squirrels, cow pies, everything. For the humans, there's an awesome farm stand with fresh produce, and very soon will have beef available to purchase. They also have port-a-potties near the camp sites. There might be folks camping while you're here, fyi, and they may have dogs, on leash. I just steered clear of the only occupied camp site and had no trouble. The property owners have their own dogs, who will be kenneled during your booking.
Folks from town should be aware that this is a ranch, not a golf course; there are free range cattle and horses. There are work trucks. There's barbwire fencing. There are places your dogs can disappear from sight. There's wildlife, critter holes. The "grass" is wild, there's brome, prickly pear and other plants that you won't find in a manicured park.

It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks.
