Beautiful spot! I’ve only been here in late winter/early spring but summer is really nice! So much foliage and lots of shade for the pups. Huge yard with lots of thoughtful amenities (water, toys, poop bags, treats). East parking and clear instructions for entry. Very communicative and kind host. One of our top two favorite spots!!

One side of yard is chain link and neighbors' two small dogs were out, running the fence and barking. My dogs didn't react, thankfully. They were more interested in running, sniffing and playing. Alerted host ahead of time to keep chickens cooped up (lol) - wasn't sure if my dogs would be aggressive if they saw chickens, even if enclosed in fence. We heard the chickens but didn't see them (thanks Catie!). My herding dog was interested and barked a little, but otherwise no problem. We'll definitely be booking again!Marsha T.

Luckily we already had a message from the host apologizing for the weather, and she offered us a full refund to come back and enjoy another day! Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
