Half Acre Property with a huge fenced yard! I've rented the yard on a different site for 2 years. Pool is included in price if you’d like to use it with your pup. Pool bathroom is on the west side of the house and is marked. I'd say half of the bookings are people wanting to use the yard for large dog social gatherings. There is a sitting area under an oak tree and plenty of room for running around and playing with your dog or multiple dogs. We've had "Corgi" parties with 20 small dogs running around having fun. We’re part of the rescue community and open up our space as a way to support and further our efforts in animal rescue, and every booking helps us continue doing what we love!❤️🐶🐱 Given how hot it’s been, we’re happy to offer our yard even after the sun goes down. The yard is a spacious 0.18 acres with plenty of room for pups to run and play. The pool is dog-friendly and features side steps (which our own dogs use!) and built-in entry steps, plus a relaxing lounge area in the water. Yes, you’re more than welcome to swim with your pup! 🏊‍♀️ For safety, the pool has a max depth of around 5 feet, and we kindly ask that guests notify us after booking if they’re bringing 🚨 children who cannot swim🚨. At night, the pool lights up—you can choose a classic white glow or switch to a color-changing mode just tell us what you prefer after booking. June 9th: We’ve had an outbreak of slime mold in the backyard. It’s not harmful or toxic to dogs but if you see little white puffs in the grass that’s what they are. If kicked open they look like diarrhea from dogs. Again, not harmful just wanted to let you know. As it heats up they will disappear. Not your perfect yard, digging and construction going on, equipment may or may not be out. If you’re looking for the perfect yard for you this IS NOT the place for you. If you’re looking for a place for your dog then we MIGHT have the backyard for them. Ok, now that we have that out of the way if you still feel froggy in visiting our backyard you are more than welcome. BUT please keep in mind we are still doing renovations and making our backyard more presentable not only for us but for you, our guests. If you can’t stand the unsightly look of dirt and rock with wood stacked away, tractors parked on the side, open sheds and maybe coming across some dog poop then this place really may not be for you. We do try our best to clean up but hey, sometimes we miss. I feel like this has to be said. There is plenty of space to park alongside our front yard. **Important: if your dog does go swimming and you decide to take the pool hose out PLEASE RETURN IT BEFORE YOU LEAVE. If you don’t it will burn up the pool pump. Please try and keep them from biting the hose. **Small dogs like chihuahuas may be able to escape through the fence. Clean towels for drying off after you’ve doggie-paddled in the pool are also provided. Of course, use of the pool is at your and your human’s own risk. The pool is chlorinated and not heated in the winter months. Your human may use the pool to get a closer look at your pawsome doggie paddling technique. While we provide towels for you, we ask that your human brings their own towels. There is no fence or gate around the pool, and we strongly encourage you to bring your own doggie life vest if you do decide to get your paws wet. Discounts are available for multiple dogs. Visit times can be extended if there is availability. Respecting Sniffspot’s 30-minute transition time between visit times is very important. Large and fully fenced area that comfortably accommodates our greyhound’s needs, as well as our chihuahua’s needs. There is a large grassy area and also a tennis court area that works great for smoothing out dog’s nails. There are areas covered in small rocks, too. Since there are various terrains and it does get hot in the desert, we have dog boots (that are very breathable) and available to borrow, as well as dog visors. We have small, medium, and large boots to protect the paws. Also, personal sunscreen packets are provided for our guest owners. There are many seating arrangements, tables available, sun umbrellas, a water feature, and many areas with natural shade provided. There is one area in particular that makes one think that they are not in the desert, but rather in another part of Arizona that provides shade from pine trees. There are three enclosures that are visible and house two pygmy goats (joey and chandler) and a chicken coop with three chickens. You might see a rabbit or squirrel on occasion. Sometimes, the tortoise will emerge from his enclosure to greet you. There are fruit trees on the premises if you’d like to take a lemon when in season. There is also a hose to use if needed. (You will want to run the water for a bit since the hose gets very heated in the summer months). Parking is conveniently located near the gated entry. There will also be bags available if your dog relieves itself. We are sure our property will provide a peaceful retreat to enjoy with your canine friend.
