It’s not a big gap I just put it there for extra precaution to make sure no dogs have the chance bust through the gate. I have big dogs and they have plenty of room to run and play fetch! They love to go to the woodsy area near the back to get that forest feeling.

There are no houses directly across from my front yard. There are woods in that area, and there are beautiful huge oak trees in the next door neighbors yard. There is a 15 foot deep area of mostly small trees and shrubs along the entire back fence of the yard.
