Beagle Boot Camp

This spot was developed as a starting pen for beagles. Brush piles, food plots, and secure cover were established for rabbits. Elevated observation decks (use at your own risk) were built for dog owners to observe their dog working a running rabbit. This spot is designed for beagle use but is multi use for all breeds of dogs. This spot is located in the "country" with easy parking and access. There are very few distractions which allows you the opportunity to enjoy a peaceful experience on mowed trails with plenty of area to investigate, and plenty of scents to stimulate your dogs sniffer.

West Side Dog Park

West Side Dog Park is a fully fenced park located at 3243 N W River Rd in Sanford, Michigan. It offers a safe and secure environment for dogs to run and play off-leash. The park provides amenities such as waste stations, benches, and water fountains for both dogs and their owners. With just over 5,500 sq feet of fenced in area your dog will have plenty of room to run! We have many dog toys, a kiddie pool, agility equipment, sand area (for those who like to dig) and more! We are constantly adding new things and updating the area. We have chairs for you to sit back in and watch your dog! Please do not leave your dog unattended, let your dog jump on the fence or dig along the fence (digging is only permitted in the sand) and please clean up after your pet. We hope you enjoy our little pet area 😊 The kiddie pool is out weather permitting. We try to empty it daily but often we don't get to if we have dog's boarding and multiple bookings because it leaves a muddy mess...we have found the dogs don't care if the water is fresh or not and parents would rather have dirty water versus a muddy yard ;) We do keep fresh drinking water out around the yard. We often have a seasonal photo shoot area set up. When we do, please do not let your dog(s) mess with the display. We want all guest to be able to enjoy this spot. You may take all the photos you want we just ask you to watch your dog so they are not destroying it and to share the photos with our page :) We do run a small boarding and training business on our property. If we have dogs at the time of your visit you will not see them. If they hear you and your dog they may bark so you may hear them but they will never be out of the building while you are here (unless they are being picked up/dropped off but they will be going in/out on the other side of the building). We never have more than 5 dogs at a time but they are located in the building attached to the fenced in area. If this is a concern you may reach out to me via messenger to see if we have any clients during the time you want to book. We have many days/times when we do not have anyone here. If you pup has a birthday/gotcha day we would be happy to set up a few decorations and leave a special treat for them. Just let us know ahead of time (at least 48 hours if possible) so we can have time to get everything ready for their special day!

Farmside Fully Fenced Private Dog Park In Ionia

Come out and enjoy the country air at this rural site South of Ionia minutes from 96 and 66. Bring a chair and enjoy the sun or the shade of the trees. Located adjacent to a working crop and beef farm, this fully fenced half acre yard is a perfect spot to enjoy fresh air, country quiet, and the occasional farm equipment or cattle sightings. Three sides of the yard are 4’ chainlink, the fourth side is livestock fence shared with a cattle pasture that has 8” square openings. If your dog cannot abide the fence with larger openings, please choose a different Sniffspot. Because, we are adjacent to an operating farm, please help us be kind neighbors. Keep dogs on leash until secured within the fence area and if the cattle are nearby, please try to keep barking at the cattle to a minimum. Most people enjoy watching the cattle, especially in the spring with their calves. Also, make sure to park in the designated areas only to keep the main flow clear for farm traffic. We are a new Sniffspot, so we have several amenities we are excited to add, but getting a general feel for interest before further investment.
