55Perfect spot for a backyard romp - booked the spot for a safe fenced in area for meet & greet with my foster dog and his potential fur sibling. Both dogs enjoyed exploring the smells in the yard and there was plenty of room for them to play and chase each other. Plenty of places for humans to sit as well. Nice warm fall day - great spot. Thank you!Jennifer T.

55Nice time at this Sniffspot! Big enough for our two dogs to roam around comfortably and explore. Safe and secure with no risk of dogs getting out. My dog surely tried because he was chasing a bunny! The host followed up afterwards to see how we enjoyed it.Manuela B.

55I brought my dog so he could run and around and sniff since he doesn’t do well with other dogs. He loved ever minute of it. We brought some toys and water and he played and chased some squirrels in the yard having a blast!! Passed out as soon as we got home. Jasmine L.

55Overall good but a few things to be aware of! The positives are the gate is clearly marked, the yard is exactly as described, and there was a chair in the shade to sit in!
Things to consider:
1) the gate was really difficult to open and shut all the way (you have to really force it) and if it didn’t click all the way a dog could easily push through it. I was able to get it to close after a minute, just something worth noting!
2) there were several spots along the fence line where it looks like a dog might’ve been digging. they aren’t big enough for my 40 pound dog to slide through, but she kept sticking her head into them so something to consider for smaller dogs
also, and I do not fault the host for this at all, I got bit by 6 mosquitos in my hour here😭 I’m super prone to them though but just mentioning it for anyone else like me!Raquel S.

55This guy is just the best. So responsive and sweet, the yard is perfect and fence is secure. Exactly as pictured. Reviews mentioning barking dogs in the neighborhood written by others who are dog owners kinda make no sense to me. I own three, so maybe I’m a bit more tolerant, but that seems a bit nit picky. I also didn’t hear any.
Also, the gate. It’s fine. You have to maneuver it a bit. I had no problem. That’s life. Figure it out. He’s not charging much. My three loved this spot. And I have three large dogs, all over 70 pounds.
I didn’t see the hose, and he was even going to have his sister bring me water. We face timed about the gate, etc.
This is a very responsible human with a great yard. Rachel F.

FAQ about our North Providence dog parks
Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 96% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the North Providence area are 5 stars.
How do I know if a dog park works for my dog?
