Very friendly and welcoming. We, humans and dogs, loved our visit. Such a great place where our dogs could just go for a run, swim in the water and mud. Doggie heaven 😀 Particularly great for our reactive dog who prefers his own space away from other dogs. We could have a thoroughly enjoyable time not having to worry about whether another dog was around the corner. Thank you so much for this awesome opportunity! We will be back.

Such an amazing place, it was lovely to be able to take my beautiful sensitive dog somewhere she could be a dog with out other off lead dogs interfering and rushing at her, she loves water and went for a dip in the wee muddy river, she was so happy to run, sniff and play, we will be back.

Awesome spot for training and sniffing. Our working dog Kobe loved running around although he probably could have stayed 2 hours! The set up made it that extra special as they have provided a long line, water and toys. Kobe even got a swim in the pond!

We took our two fur babies to Rachael's lovely property and they had a blast. Rachael was very welcoming and having dogs that are reactive to other dogs it was so nice to have somewhere to go and not have to worry. We will be returning

A great place to let your dog explore & to do some training. No other dogs to distract our pup but she was fascinated by the two horses across the pond. Such a lovely quiet spot… we’ll definitely be back!

Thank you Rachael for opening your house. It's not easy for people with dogs with reactivity towards other dogs to find spaces where they can relax walking, knowing that no dog will come up to them. This is a great idea. Be mindful that there's stock around and the dogs can jump / go through the fences. Also, be mindful that it has a pond but I wouldn't recommend dogs jumping in that water as it's not fresh and could contain bacteria. Oh and bring gumboots! and make sure your doggies don't eat the horse poop! hahaha Other than that, it's a beautiful green space to explore :) Thanks again!

We had a great time at Rachels puppy paradise our dogs had so much fun running and exploring lots of new smells .best thing not having to worry about of lead dogs running up to our sometimes reactive boy. Such a great place will be a regular visitor . Rachel warm welcome was lovely . Thank you for letting us use your home .

Are dog parks good for dogs?

It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.

Are dog parks safe?
