55Our Golden Retriever Hazel really enjoyed her first visit to this site. It is very evident that the owners have invested significant time and effort into making this a well thought out private dog park. Fence is very secure, fresh water supply, small pool, water dishes, poo bags, garbage can, and comfortable shelter for just relaxing and watching your pup explore. Very peaceful and relaxing surroundings. Loved it.Tim J.

55Super charming and peaceful spot! I really appreciated using the sheltered a-frame and comfy camp chairs while the pups got their initial sniffers out.
The hostess met all of our needs: water, poop bags and disposal, shade, picnic table and bonus agility obstacles, pool and even the iconic fire hydrant!
We are definitely coming back and highly recommend The Dog-Out to anyone needing a place to be free and have fun with their pup. Marianne S.

55My husband and I brought our small dog Louie, to Big Sky Ranch for the first time.
Such a beautiful property - the dog park provides lots of space to run around, it’s a fenced area which we really appreciate. Louie’s favorite part was the agility course! A great way to spend some time interacting with your dog friend! We would definitely come back for a visit.Chloe L.

55What a great spot, beautiful and peaceful! Different areas to run/fetch, climb around a dry creek bed, investigate separate paths along trees, and have a splash in a pool. We had fun working on recall and introducing the agility jumps (great size for starters and short-legged Corgis). One loose dog came up to the fence, he/she was quiet and polite, while mine barked until I called them back so it was a good training distraction. My dogs had a great first visit, and we’ll be back. 55This may be a bit long, but the TL;dr is: I drove an hour from Salem to get here and I would (and likely will) 100% so it again.
This is a really large area that is fully (and securely) fenced. My border collie Auggie can be a bit of a Houdini when he wants to be, so we walked pretty much the entire fence line and it is super secure, even for smaller dogs.
There’s a mix of long and short grass, which was perfect because Auggie could frolic in the longer areas while I didn’t have to wade through it if I didn’t want to.
There is a neighbor’s dog on the right side of the property that is visible, but it pretty much ignored us the entire time we were there. Auggie can be dog reactive, but he had no issues because there was so much more to explore. There are also chickens in one area that are fenced off, but visible, but again they weren’t that interesting to Auggie compared to everything else.
The property is super easy to find and Linda’s instructions were spot on. We had no issues getting in or leaving, and the drive out there was absolutely beautiful.
Linda also provided poop bags and a trash bin right by the front gate, which was super appreciated (I never like having to bring those stinky poop bags back in the car for the drive home).
Finally, my only tip would be wearing boots if you go during one of Oregon’s many rainy seasons. There are some areas that are a bit muddy (understandably), but even with the mud, Auggie didn’t actually get that dirty because there were so many other areas to run around and get the mud off.
All in all, I can’t rave about this place enough. Truly such an amazing property and I’m so grateful to Linda for opening it up!!Ashley K.

55Gorgeous pasture with tons of space to run, and lots of different areas to sniff!! The fencing felt safe and secure. Wear pants for the long grassy areas if you want to go deeper into the meadow (there’s a mowed path too with shorter grass). She had so much fun frolicking through the wildflowers. Alison W.

55My dogs had a great time at Linda's 3 acres. The pasture isn't a rectangle so there were lots of places to explore off to the side. There is fair sized chicken yard and I didn't know it was there until there was barking and squawking. Luckily my dogs come when called so maybe it wasn't too terrifying for the chickens! The fencing is good, the front part of the pasture is mowed and the back is longer, which my dogs loved rolling around in. There's a not very deep ditch around the pasture, part had standing water in it, other parts were a tad muddy. At this time of year boots are a good idea. We will be back again soon! Diane B.

55WOW. This was by far the most memorable Sniffspot we’ve been to. It’s hard to convey just how huge the pasture is. My collie had a blast running circles around the property, watching cows and playing in the stream. Just a gorgeous, gorgeous place especially at sunset.
It was our first time here and I actually went in the wrong gate, but there is a little white sign (shown in pictures) in front of the right one!Eryn W.

All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 93% of reviews on Sniffspot visits are 5 stars.
