Ticket to Heaven Animal Sanctuary

Ticket to Heaven is a small rescue farm sitting on a total of 75 acres, where we provide visits to learn about horses, farm and rescue. We have both farm and small animals in our care. In addition to a fully fenced run area (maybe 1.5-2 acre) and an easily accessible private trail loop. All proceeds through sniffspot go directly to the Sanctuary.

What a great place . These pups loved running around free in the fenced in area. Owner greeted when we arrived made sure we knew the area , the trails and was able to answer all questions. Very private beautiful setting to enjoy with you family and furbabies. Can't wait to go back in the summer.

This big, fenced area with a lovely mountain view was a great place to romp and play for my two big dogs. Melissa was very kind to consider Sebastians fear of strangers and allowed us uninterrupted time to enjoy the freedoms of being off leash we brought some toys and treats and had a great time Thank you!!

The host was very helpful and my dogs had a blast! There was a beautiful view of Monadnock and the fencing was very secure. I brought my four month old puppy and worked on some off leash commands and he and my older dog just enjoyed the huge space to run free in. We will definitely be back!

I had a fabulous experience here. The space is huge and extremely securely fenced with water and tennis balls. I was fully confident that my two rambunctious pups would not be able to escape. One of my dogs is dog reactive and Mellisa was very understanding of this and ensured that the space would be fully private for my visit. Perfect spot for a picnic with beautiful views of Mount Monadnock. We will definitely be back!!

We were warmly greeted by Melissa, who described the very large fenced area. We brought some of Finn's toys with us, but there was an ample supply if needed. The view of Mount Monadnock is spectacular from the field, so pick a clear day if possible. We did take the woods walk on the property that Melissa suggested, and chose to keep Finnegan leashed during that -- for all of our sanity. Our 90-minute visit was just perfect, as we had one very tired and sleepy whippet for our trip home.

What a lovely spot!!! The fenced area is massive and well-enclosed, and there are tennis balls and one of those plastic throwers there to use. We tried using them, but the dogs were in full “explore mode”. This was a great place to introduce our dog to our friends’ dog on neutral ground - it went really well! Also, for the humans, there is a spectacular view if you just walk up to the highest point in the pen and turn to look back down the hill. There were (unsurprisingly) a TON of black flies at our almost-dusk visit time, btw, so if you’re going within the next couple of weeks, you may want to wear sleeves/something with a hood. (‘Tis the season for them, of course - just a heads-up for anyone not from the area! :)

Nice open, hilly field for the pup! Lots of space to just run around and sniff. The grass is very tall so bring a bright ball or frisbee if you’re bringing your own supplies! We did see some at the entrance if you forgot to bring something. The property had such a nice breeze and great view from the top where we set up our camping chairs. Everything was secure around and we felt safe for our pup to just wonder! Great place to practice recall.

Melissa’s farm was beautiful!! Not only was the fenced in area great, but so were the trails. A short hike took us by a cute pond and we had a nice view. My dog had a great time and so did I! Would highly recommend.

The field is huge and the trail is super fun with the gang. The owner explain well which side is the steep side and the flatter side great for my reactive baby:) I never saw him knock out so fast in the car it was so cute:3 ALSO GREAT FOR PHOTOS and recall if your working on training.

Are dog hiking trails safe?

While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, inattentive owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than a city or county park. With a Sniffspot off-leash area all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot hiking trail at the same time as me?

Sniffspot only allows one booking at a time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the spot during visits. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between bookings.
