Hello! We’re Kate and Bethany, and this is our yard. We have 2 wonderful but reactive dogs and we’d love to help someone else with a reactive bud(s) have space to play and train. The fence is chain link and 5ft high, our girls haven’t cleared it yet! We are looking into privacy screening for the fence but until then it is a great spot to practice with reactivity as there’s distractions but also you can control the distance of those distractions. Our yard is available mostly during our work hours so our dogs are in the house, they may bark, but then should settle. Feel free to hang on our front porch on the bench/shade. Our serene Sniffspot located near the intersection of Mutton Hollow and Thornfield Rd in Kaysville, Utah. Our property spans just under an acre, offering a diverse landscape for your dog's enjoyment. We also have a slatmill your dog can utilize upon request. The area is predominantly grassy, providing ample space for running and playing. The terrain is a mixture of gentle and steep hills, adding an element of adventure to your dog's exploration. Mature trees dot the property, creating a forest-like atmosphere with plenty of shade and interesting scents. We keep up on our pup's every week, but we can pick up before your visit upon request. A highlight of our space is a small, man-made waterfall and pond, introducing soothing sounds and a touch of tranquility. Water features are seasonal and will be dry or turned off during winter. Adjacent to our property are some goats which offer your dog a chance to safely observe farm animals from a distance. We also have a variety of gardens, some maintained and some that are wild, adding to the natural beauty and providing a variety of scents for your dog to discover. Our Sniffspot is designed to be a safe and engaging environment where dogs can explore, play, and relax in a natural setting. We own two dogs who love the yard, and one is extremely friendly and would love a playdate if you so desire. We look forward to welcoming you and your furry friend!

Both of my dogs are geriatric and enjoy the backyard to sunbathe but I do miss why I bought this backyard in the first place. For medium to large dogs, it's not a huge space but that doesn't mean they can't enjoy the peace that you get back here. If you have little dogs, it's the best place in the world for them. If you have reactive dogs, it's the best place in the world for you, Your dogs cannot get out nor fight any other dogs in the neighborhood through my fence. If they enjoy screaming at squirrels, this is your spot. They get to learn and smell all the things from my old dogs that are completely vaccinated. Opal is a pyrenees mix who is 13 years old and Rupert is a dachshund mix who is 16 in this year 2025. They love the sunshine and the snow but they are old, so please come enjoy what they sleep through most days 💜
