I live in a very safe and trusted HOA neighborhood. Our fence is newly built and the latch is dog proof. We have been boarding pups for over eight years and currently board dogs on a very part time basis so we can focus on homeschooling our kids. With my previous dog care experience, I am able to maintain a safe environment including a chemical free lawn. Even though I do not have a shade structure (YET) there are spots in the yard for shade all times of day. My home boarders a woods on one side behind the fence so you also may see some cool insects, birds and animals. Watch for the deer on the way in and out!

Chairs for the humans, which you can move to the grass area or keep under the storage house porch covering for shade. Tree by that area provides additional shaded rest area for poochies. (In winter can have fun leaves to frolic through) This is a rustic spot if you are looking for a space for your dog to run and play. Once you make your reservation you will receive the code. Notes on the gate - If it doesn't open fully when you enter the code - typically that means you didn't press the keys firmly or you hesitated too long between pressing the 4 digits. If it doesn't open fully - please count to five before entering the code a second time. Whatever you do, don't start punching the code quickly over and over - that is a sure way to guarantee it will not open correctly. Exiting through the gate: There is a sensor for when you exit - just keep driving at 5 - 7 mph towards the gate and don't pause until you see it start to open. People make the mistake of stopping when they have only partially passed the sensor. If you made it all the way to the gate and it didn't open you were likely hesitating or didn't drive fast enough. In any case back up at least 20 feet (think 5 car lengths) wait 10 seconds for the gate to reset itself before driving towards it again to exit.
