We live on 15 acres, and now have 1.5 acres fully fenced! It is all very flat land making for an easy stroll with your dogs. We are boarded on two edges by farm fields and two edges by neighbors. There is a trail that circles the property, with plenty of space to explore. During the summer, please take advantage of the small kiddie pool. There are also toys and chairs in the fenced area for all guests. Some seasonal things to keep in mind: Spring/fall when we have heavy rain, some areas could have standing water and/or be muddy. Mid to late summer, there are fox tails (cheat grass) that can cling to your dogs. Winter, the trails might not be plowed. There will be a 5gal bucket in the wood shed (inside the fenced area) full of water you can use to refill the two water bowls. Keep an eye out for trip hazards! Logs, sticks, uneven ground and holes.

The 50 acres is mostly timber, with a 7 acre pond that has water in it most of the year. It will dry up on really hot years. I do have chickens and pack goats by the house. But they are inside mesh fencing, so your dogs won’t be able to get to them. The 50 acres is completely fenced with a 3 to 5 strand Barbwire fence. It’s in good shape. It is also the property boundary. So as long as you stay inside of the fence, you will be on the property. There are not a lot of neighbors but the ones I have are nice. When you come up the driveway, you can pass the house and drive up on the hill and Park at the conex container. There is lots of wildlife on the property, and I highly recommend that your dog has some sort of tick repellent, we do have ticks in the spring time. The upper part of the driveway is not graveled, so if there’s melting snow, or a lot of ran, it can get muddy. So be prepared for that. Fabulous spot with many additions (balls, poop bags, tables & chairs under an awning) showing how thoughtful the hosts are. The play area is accessible through a lovely little trail. The directions were easy to follow and everything was well marked. Thank you for a fabulous visit.

Great trails, dog loved it. Easy to park and find, feels like a mini hike. It was clean and private. There is barking in the distance and visible horses but nothing too loud or crazy. Awesome spot.

Very well signed and plenty bug spray around the property. My dog was plenty happy running up and down the trail. The public land is also very private as it doesn't show up in Gaia app we did not see anyone there. It's a bit of drive coming from Bellevue area but Ruby is worth it. No poop on the property grounds but some poop in the public land.

This place is MAGICAL!!!!!!! I already can’t wait to come back. We had so much fun walking the trails. The wooded are like a little fairyland and the field area was perfect for fetch. Soup also saw a horse for the first time and we loved to sit and watch the horse (he loves to observe ☺️) Can’t say enough how special it is to be able to spend quality nature time without worrying. Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot hiking trail at the same time as me?

Sniffspot only allows one booking at a time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the spot during visits. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between bookings.
