Our private, off-leash park, located just outside of Philomath city limits, is for dogs of all ages, sizes, and behavior levels. Easy access with parking only a few feet away. Additional space for extra large vehicles to park, including motorhomes or trucks. Reactive dogs are welcome! We offer the use of a large, fenced, level field for training, play time, or socializing. There is plenty of room to run, play fetch, or enjoy the wading pool in warm weather, with no unwelcome direct contact with other dogs or people. You are also welcome to add fur friends to your reservation; just please keep me posted if you will need to park more than two vehicles.

The property is a horse ranch on 25 acres surrounded by private forest. There is a shallow year round creek that is refreshingly cold and also a large pond that your dog can swim in. There are hiking trails that start at the edge of the property. The trails are mostly uphill. The outdoor and indoor arenas are available for an extra fee. They are mostly dog proof for large dogs but not escape proof for small dogs. The horses wander around the property early in the morning so if your dog chases horses it should be kept on a leash around the horses. I recommend that I show you around your first time out here. To get here you must be prepared to drive down 5 miles of gravel road. There is a gate to get into the property. The gate code will be sent to you with the welcoming message. Cell phone signals are weak once you get on the gravel so check the pre-visit message sent two hours before the appointment before you get out of cell service.

Close to downtown Corvallis, come let your dog run free and just be a dog for a little while. Update…Currently I have reservations blocked for awhile, we have a pregnant pig that will be giving birth soon and we need her in the barn where the dog park is. The pond is also a fun place for dogs to get muddy and jump in the water. Dogs also have a lot of fun hunting moles and field mice. You may encounter wild turkey, bunnies, birds of prey. There is a small outdoor kennel if you need a place to temporarily separate your dogs, for example for training purposes to work with one dog at a time. Please do not leave dogs unattended in this space - It is for very temporary housing with you on the premises. The yard has an l shape which can allow you to go out of sight of your dog for training purposes. Downsides: Access is currently via a somewhat narrow/awkward path. There is a large brush pile in the backyard currently. One neighbor has dogs that like to fence fight. They aren't out all of the time and the neighbors will usually call them away when they start barking.

On the west side of our 3 acre goat farm/tree farm property, we have a fully fenced dog field. The remaining property, a mix of tree farm and open pasture with a creek and pond running down the center, is also available yet not fully fenced. We do have lots of farm animals in their own pastures and pens but we ask that you don’t allow your dogs to harass the livestock. The dog field is not located by any of the animal areas.
