The property is a horse ranch on 25 acres surrounded by private forest. There is a shallow year round creek that is refreshingly cold and also a large pond that your dog can swim in. There are hiking trails that start at the edge of the property. The trails are mostly uphill. The outdoor and indoor arenas are available for an extra fee. They are mostly dog proof for large dogs but not escape proof for small dogs. The horses wander around the property early in the morning so if your dog chases horses it should be kept on a leash around the horses. I recommend that I show you around your first time out here. To get here you must be prepared to drive down 5 miles of gravel road. There is a gate to get into the property. The gate code will be sent to you with the welcoming message. Cell phone signals are weak once you get on the gravel so check the pre-visit message sent two hours before the appointment before you get out of cell service.

1 acre fully- fenced regularly mowed field. Flat and open for running and playing. Lots of trees and shade. Please respect dog waste etiquette; waste bags and garbage available. There are security cameras on the property. Please, no smoking. Closed some Wednesdays for field maintenance ** This Sniffspot is very popular. If you cannot make it to your reserved time, please cancel through the app ASAP so that others have a chance to fill that time. Thank you.

Philomath Puppy Park 2.0

Our private, off-leash park, located just outside of Philomath city limits, is for dogs of all ages, sizes, and behavior levels. Accessible entry includes parking only a few feet away, with additional parking space for extra large vehicles, including motorhomes or trucks. The large, level field is great for training, play time, or socializing. There is plenty of room to run, play fetch, and enjoy the wading pool in warm weather, with no unwelcome direct contact with other dogs or people. Reactive dogs are welcome! You are welcome to add fur friends (up to 10 total dogs) and their humans to your reservation! Marys River access for two or four hours is available as an extra from June to September.

If your pup likes water this spot is perfect for you. There will be goats in the area they are nice. They will leave you alone. And I do have ducks also but they come up to the house during the day to eat. If you choose to come and pay screen shot the map I drew because the service is really bad.

Note: better photos and amenities coming soon. Upsides: fully fenced spacious yard with lots of room to run. Shade trees, convenient location about 5 minutes off I-5. Easy parking. There is a small outdoor kennel if you need a place to temporarily separate your dogs, for example for training purposes to work with one dog at a time. Please do not leave dogs unattended in this space - It is for very temporary housing with you on the premises. The yard has an l shape which can allow you to go out of sight of your dog for training purposes. Downsides: Access is currently via a somewhat narrow/awkward path. There is a large brush pile in the backyard currently. One neighbor has dogs that like to fence fight. They aren't out all of the time and the neighbors will usually call them away when they start barking.
