Welcome to Twisted Oak Bark Park, a fully fenced 1/2 acre space. The Twisted Oak property is on 3 peaceful acres right outside of Clarksville city limits. While there may be other dogs on the property at times, the park is in a pasture located away from the property owner's personal fenced in yard. In the spring and summer seasons, the park is almost fully shaded by our large, beautiful oak trees. Come enjoy a romp in the yard, a picnic in the shade and maybe catch a glimpse of our resident deer, chipmunks and barn swallows. **Twisted Oak is owned by a Professional Dog Trainer with over 10 years of experience and is specifically designed with reactive dogs in mind.

Hi there!! As an owner of a reactive dog I completely understand wanting to have a safe space for our babies to play without the judging eyes of other owners who don’t understand our dogs. Tie out stake and a runner is available. If you’re adventurous you can trail down to the creek at the edge of duck river. It’s not cleared path yet not hard to hike. Carport can be used for shaded co Crete area. Swingset and trampoline may be used with care. Small interior bathroom available. Waters and snacks available. Kid friendly. Abundant parking. Some areas you don’t have to worry on picking g up poo. Dog treats and training clickers on site for use.

We have a 5ft tall fence as we have 2 large dogs and 2 cats(that will stay inside during your visit). We do not use any chemicals in our yard so while we keep our grass low, please be sure to have flea & tick prevention for your pet(s). If you are concerned about bugs, we do have bug repellent and a mesh tent that can be utilized if needed. There is a covered back porch with a table and chairs available and access to electricity and wifi(fiber). I do dog grooming in my spare time and have everything needed to get your dog clean for an extra fee if you’d like. We do not have any muddy areas besides under our back porch but we have installed a French drain in order to keep the moisture down near there. Under our porch is where we store wheel barrows and other items to help deter our dogs from going under there. Please make sure your dogs are utd on vaccinations such as parvo and bordetella, which are highly contagious. We’d like to keep our space safe :) I am a certified veterinary assistant as well and know how to administer first aid. We do have a veterinary clinic just 10 mins away if there are any accidents. The yard is used by our 4 dogs while we are home. They will be in the house during the day and unable to get to the yard. You will definitely hear them. There will be a gate at the stairs of the deck, please leave that closed. A chair will be provided on the concrete pad for you to sit and watch your dog(s) run around.
