Top Public & Private Dog Parks in West Caldwell, NJ

Ever since Opie lost his leg, we try to seek out opportunities for him to swim since it can be such good joint exercise for a “tripawd.” Leslie’s Wags and Whiskers Wonderland provided that and beyond. We had such a wonderful time not just splashing in the pool but also frolicking around the spacious yard. The personal touches like the welcome gift bag of treats were so very appreciated. Leslie, I hope you’re ready to see us around more often! Thank you for providing such a fun space for our special guy. 😊

BEST PLACE EVER! Highly recommend! Cleaner than clean, 100% contained, plenty of great sniffs and a huge place to let the dog run and play! Everything you would ever need (water, bowls, toys, poop bags, etc.). Definitely going back!!!!

We had such a delightful time!!!! We’ve been wanting to check out this spot for the longest time, and now that we finally have we can’t wait to go back!! One of our dogs really loves to swim and the other really loves to run, and they both got the best of both worlds. Leslie even left our pups a sweet gift to welcome us for our first visit 🥰 we could barely get a good photo of our girls sitting still because they were just so excited to be swimming/running around the whole time! We now have two sleepy pups that are going to be nice and relaxed for the next few days 🫶🏼 If you’re thinking about visiting here, DO IT!!! 💕

This was the ultimate way to beat the 98° heat and have a blast with my pup! He has never really been that keen on fully getting in the water, so this was the perfect situation to get more comfy. He ended up not wanting to leave the pool. He was so happy! Thank you, Leslie for the welcome treat. My puppy used the lifevest for half the time and then he got confident! He loved all of the toys and will be so excited to come back.

Awesome place! Had a birthday party for my 16 year old pup and he absolutely loved it! The place was very clean and it had everything to make your pup comfortable and safe! I got the party package and the decorations did not disappoint! Definitely will be back! Thank you so much Leslie for making my boy happy on his special day. ❤️❤️❤️

My pups love this spot so much and we’ve been here many times- never disappoints!! Always clean and the pool water is so warm! Lots of storms in the area today and we really appreciate Leslie communicating with us ahead of time to let us know what the weather was like there. Fortunately the weather cleared up just in time for our visit. Now we have two very tired pups!!

We had so much fun! They provided so many toys, lifejackets and more. Thank you for an awesome afternoon!

Leslie was great at communicating and her place was set up with everything you could think of for you and your pets! We couldn’t coax ours in the pool this time, but we enjoyed the (warm!!) pool ourselves.

Our pup had a great time making use of the fenced in open field. He also got a chance to swim for the first time in the well maintained pool. They have a lot of toys, other facilities set up so all you have to do is bring your pup along, no need to bring extras.

Leslie’s yard & pool are absolutely spectacular! The space is huge & enclosed all around, the grounds are well maintained & spotless! Our 2 pups had the time of their lives! I feel very fortunate that she makes her property available to us! We can’t wait to go back!

Our puppy Sunny had THE BEST time learning how to swim at this sniffspot! We had so much fun in the pool, running around the yard, and appreciated all the thoughtful accommodations. We are so excited to book here again soon!

This Sniffspot is absolutely amazing! The space is incredibly large, giving our dogs plenty of room to run, explore, and play freely. The swimming pool is clean and well-maintained—our pups had an absolute blast splashing around! The park is also equipped with everything you could possibly need: toys, water, shade, and seating. The host is very responsible, responsive, and clearly puts a lot of care into keeping the place safe and welcoming. Our dogs had a fantastic time, and we’ll definitely be coming back soon. Highly recommended!

Leslie’s private playground is great! Knox (my doberman) and I had wonderful time playing together; the organization is top notch, everything is available for the dogs to have fun in a safe environment, the playground is fenced, the grass area is very big for the dogs to be able to run around, toys and water bowls are available; Knox and I look forward to our next visit!

I would love to give 10 out of 5 for this perfect spot. My pup absolutely loves it every time!

A Pawsitively Perfect First Sniff Spot Visit! 🐾 What an amazing first experience we had at this beautiful Sniff Spot! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that Leslie put a lot of love and thought into this space. The area was incredibly clean, inviting, and so well-stocked—with everything you could possibly need for a stress-free, joyful outing with your pup. Even though I brought my own supplies, I was blown away by how prepared everything already was. Fresh, cold drinking water was ready and waiting, along with paw wipes, human wipes, toys galore, and even a first-time treat bag for my pup, Maverick. That extra attention to detail truly made this visit special. Maverick had an absolute blast exploring, playing, and sniffing every inch of the space. He was obsessed with the pool—he couldn’t take his eyes off it—so we’ll definitely be coming back soon to let him take a dip. The pool, like the rest of the area, was immaculately clean and so well-maintained. Honestly, the whole setup was just perfect. Thank you, Leslie, for sharing such a magical spot with us. We’re already planning our return trip. Highly recommend to any pup parent looking for a safe, clean, and super fun environment for their furry friend!

The place was amazing, my dogs had so much fun, fully fenced + access to lots of toys and cold water for them to drink. The pool was clean and warm and had plenty of sizes of vests for the dogs.
