Please park in front of the Sniffspot sign located on the left garage door. The arrow will lead you down some stone steps to a metal gate. Please use caution when walking down the steps, they can be muddy and slippery from the fallen wet leaves. Our spot is mostly naturalized, hilly, muddy, and pretty rugged so please wear appropriate shoes and watch your step. We hope to have you as a guest soon! 😊

Mookie's Magic Meadows

Hello I am Mookie, a Golden Doodle who loves to play ball and my Human is Grace. She got me this place with a long yard, perfect for playing with a chuck it! I begged for a pug and she let me have Frankie. We are happy to share our yards which have different areas for different Dog needs. Human needs can be taken care of too. We are relatively new to Sniffspot and will be adding new features as we go. Our pictures show how much we have changed since we opened the very snowy end of January. Frankie and I will not be coming out to visit your dogs, but once you leave we will enjoy learning about them on our scent hunt. We believe this will create a lot of interest and fun for us and for your special family members too. A little info about my place, I have safe space to unload and load the doggos. Important to close the gate as you enter and exit the property. Everywhere is fenced. It is 2 acres total, the area that you will be playing in is a very nice long field with a small pool which gets changed between guests, and a larger one that My human adds water to between guests. it looks dirty, however, it is from the sand box and dirt hills that my human made for the dogs to play in. It is too large for her to clean after each guest. There is a water hose with a shower head that you can use for play and clean up as well. Added attraction, MOLES and we love sniffing after them. Be watchful of holes that my human missed filling between guests, she tries very hard to find them, but Frankie is a digger! This is a place for fun , everything is not perfect , but the yard is a lot of fun for Frankie and also for me! We love to explore and sometimes we see deer here and other wild animals! UPDATE: All fences are secure. IF for some reason your dog slips out the farm gate entrance to the sniff spot, the entire property is fenced, and your dog will not get out. There is a shade canopy which will protect from the rain and some chairs to relax in. You may encounter holes because dogs love to dig in the soft turf and the hill of dirt, please let me know if you find some that my human and I have not gotten filled between visits and she will fix that! With so many trees, there will be branches down. I find that the dogs love to pick through those sticks. I try to keep on top of the really big ones, but if you see any let my human know. PLEASE NOTE: If your ball or other toys go over the fence, they now belong to my neighbor! PLEASE You must not go over the fence to get them!! I have other balls and will be happy for you to use them while here, if they go over, I can deal with him later! Thank you for your consideration of my neighbors. The Dog-Out at Big Sky Ranch, Fully Fenced Park For Dogs In Oregon City, includes Outhouse.

Q: Do you have toys at your location? A: Unfortunately we do not offer toys at our sniffspot due to frequent replacement being costly, this choice helps us to keep our price low. Occasionally we will have them available thanks to donations from guests in our small dog community to share with others but it is not guaranteed. Q: How often is the spot cleaned? A: At the end/ beginning of each day we reset the shelter area for the next day by wiping down the tables, chairs and washing out the water bowls. At the end of each week we mow, empty the trash bins and do a thorough walk through of the field to pick up any trash and dog 💩 left behind. *EDITS* 5/28/2024* By request we've made some improvements on making this spot more small dog friendly by filling in noticable gaps under our fences and gates! 6/4/2024* We've ordered supplies to update sagging area's in fencing and added water bowls. 9/16/2024* Gate lock has been fixed. 6/30/2025 2 more doggy waste stations have been ordered to add to the park. 7/20/2025 Doggy waste stations have been installed and active wasps nest have also been taken care of. A water jug station will also be added to have more water jugs available for guests to replace with fresh ones once emptied.

Spirit Farm and Gardens

The outdoor space is available during daylight hours. Indoor space is available as an add-on and recommended for evening visits or during inclement weather. This is a 5-acre farm, with 1 full acre dedicated to the sniff spot. The pastures are cross-fenced, allowing for room to explore but not too far. An indoor riding arena is available as an add-on. It is fully enclosed on three sides, with the 4th wall solid up to 5 feet keeping the wind and weather out and the dogs safe and fully enclosed during playtime. It is well-lit for evening use. Horses offer additional entertainment but are always a safe distance with a large space (enough to drive a large truck through) between fence lines. The animals are not reactive to the dogs even when barking at them. The farm animals don't respond to the dogs, often the dogs move on to exploring the space. We have some simple agility items in the space along with balls and other toys to help entertain both you and your dogs. As a guest, you have access to: * Fully Fenced Acre of play space for off-leash adventures * Water - Lift the blue handle to start the flow of water * Poop baggies * White garbage can * Dog towels, clean ones in the clear container, and dirty ones go into the grey tote. We ask you to use 1 towel per visit if possible. * Porta Potty * Shelter with chairs and a small table you can put anywhere in the field during your visit we just ask that you put them back when you are done. * During the summer days we include a doggie kiddie pool. Double them up when you use them so they are easier to empty and less likely to break. Please dump the pool and return it to the corner when you are finished. IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION: This is a field that has uneven ground including mole and gopher holes. Please watch your step. Please keep within the Sniffspot area. If you happen to throw a ball over a fence just message me and I can retrieve it for you. It is important to stay outside of areas marked private property. Those gates also have extra locks, but we want to be sure everyone stays safe. USE OF INDOOR ARENA: During harsh weather (over 95 degrees or winter would be those days of wind and heavy rain) the indoor arena may be an option. Fun Fetch Spot with Covered Patio

Private, Fully Fenced Yard in quiet cul-de-sac community. Great space for medium & small dogs, but big dogs have fun here too! The yard is a mix of grass, gravel, cedar chips and a covered patio. Doggie bags, garbage can & garden hose provided. We also have a few tennis balls to share. The fence has no gaps or holes. My little guy only needs 4" to go exploring, so it's kept very tight. And 6ft tall on all sides, for the bigger guys. I bought this yard [& house] for my chiweenie Zoey during the pandemic and have since added Chipin Max to the pack. They love their little kingdom and I love relaxing on the patio watching them. We think you and your dog(s) will too. For your privacy, we'll be away for your visit. There are neighbors, but this is a pretty quiet community. There are neighborhood dogs, but not any adjacent or that bother us. Penty of parking in the driveway or in front of the house on the street.

We live on 5 acres about 1 mile from Camp Bonneville. The Sniffspot is a 2 acre pasture with a fenced seasonal pond in the middle. Pasture is fenced with 4 foot field fence with electric wire at the top (not charged). Front fence borders on 68th St. Plenty of room to run and explore! Let's keep the pasture nice, please discourage digging and pick up after dog. My Border Collie and Mini Aussie will find your leavings (it's a large space, I understand things get missed, it helps to carry poo bags to minimize backtracking). For human exercise... 6 laps around perimeter fence is approx. 1 mile, 6 laps around pond fence is approx. 1/4 mile. If you're coming from Portland, the bridges and 4th Plain can get busy!

Sauvie Island Farm #2 Shady Acres

This is our second spot. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU GO TO THE RIGHT SPOT. Sauvie Island Farm #2 ‘shady acres’ is a fully fenced area in the back of our farm, cool and shady for these summer days. Plenty of sniffs, eagles, rabbits, deer, and other wildlife. Great views. Private. Some farm machinery and active farm fields will be visible. It is accessed by driving through the main gate to the house, and then following the signs slowly to the back pasture. It does not require 4WD. Hiking shoes or hiking boots are best here. Let us know if you have any trouble.

The Boring Barking Lot - Dog Park

PLEASE READ: Hi! My name is Theresa. I recently started my sniffspot and love sharing my property with you and your doggos to enjoy. We will provide you and your best friend ( friends) with two acres of fully fenced property for your dogs to run free! Part of the property is Forest, where your dogs can forage, roam amongst the trees, dig, or just take in all the smells. Our visitors tell us It's the best of both worlds with the woods to roam and open areas to play fetch or practice on some of the agility equipment . Our space is very peaceful and beautiful, with lots of texture. We have a shade (or rain) canopy with a picnic table under it, fresh water, toys, and poop bags. :) I have 3 dogs that roam the upper 2 acres of the property, which is my backyard. Sterling (border collie) Piper (border collie) and our newest member Wriggley ( husky mix) SHE was supposed to be a foster dog, but we fell in love with her... If your dogs roam up to the very edge of the Woods where the 4 acres are divided, you will most likely hear my pups if they are outside. We have placed a privacy material along the fencing so that the dogs will not be able to have any contact, but they will see shadows through the material. My pups may bark and run up and down the fence line as you play in the forest if they hear you. The property adjacent to us is the home of two nice dogs. If our neighbors let them into their back field, there is a chance you and your dog will hear them. If you have aggressive or reactive dogs, PLEASE give me a heads up. Reality alert: Most folks already understand this and really enjoy bringing their dog here to play but for those that may not be as familiar we really want to make sure that you understand the environment that you will experience when you come to our sniff spot. It is very likely that the following could occur: 1)Hear a dog barking from the boarding facility 2)See a farmer working 3)See livestock share a fence line (Yes you can say hello to them) 4)Find mud in the wet season, no creek in the dry season 5)Alge in the pond when the water is not flowing and weeds in the field 6)We work towards keeping the main area of the field free of blackberries and weeds that poke by mowing but do not guarantee a weed free environment 7)The creek and pond are spring fed but there is always a chance of picking something up in nature 8)Your dog is welcome to dig and carry sticks and rocks. Be aware there may be holes, sticks or rocks 9)There is a dock that has no problem supporting my family on the pond but makes no promise to support anyone. You are welcome to use it but understand that is at your own risk and judgment. 10)The pond has gradual sloping sides on over half the pond but there are sections where it is steep. 11)We really don't want to discourage anyone from enjoying this place like we, do but also don't want people to expect something that is maybe not a reality. It is fully 1 ace private open, combination with trees shade area, that is in Portland. My spot is very not far by the freeway, easily accessible and has private entrance. We provide freshwater and poop bags for dogs. Chairs for people. Dog party are welcome! Please clean up after your dog, if you have kids, please keep the kid safe.
