While pup parents can sit and relax, walk around the grounds, take a hike on our small backtrail, or swing, it is perfect for pups, adults, and children to enjoy (especially during the summer and snowy months). If your fur baby needs water after so much excitement and play, please feel free to give them water (which is accessible throughout the property), so they have a restful trip home. ❤️ We take pride in giving our fur visitors the best possible experience, along with keeping their human parents in mind. We set out some extras for not only the pups, but also the humans, without any extra charge. Cherry Valley Acres Private Dog Run🐾🥰

Entrance to the acre is the dirt/mulch field road just north of the residence driveway. A quick call to me ~ 909-234-2072 ~ when you arrive for 1st time visits will help guide you into the Sniffspot - which is all the way back to the Sniffspot Sign 🪧 at the back of the entrance acre. The entrance gate is to the right of the Sniffspot Sign. Close the gate tightly behind you when you enter. And be sure to close the gate tightly behind you upon your departure. I also request that you give me a quick text upon your departure. Our Alaskan Malamute and Siberian Husky also love running in this acre, and they love to dig, as do many of our Sniffspot pups! We try to fill in holes every few days, BUT PLEASE be extremely cautious of any holes. If we hadn't had time to fill them in, we usually would put a tall stick straight up right in the middle of the hole to help you determine where they may be. But because we are a farm, and this is one of our extra acre fields, there may be slight dips here and there. So agreeing to this reservation is a full and complete release of liability, so please don't fall! So far, so good, fingers crossed, nobody has yet.😊🌻 There may be foxtails at edges of some fencing. My Red Barn Chicken Coop🐤is inside the dog run acre and will be securely locked during your visit. If possible, discourage your pups from pouncing on the enclosed chicken run fences/doors. Totally understand if they do/try! Pups get a pass the first few times until their humans can train them not to do it. Our Husky and Malamute still need a good reminder every time they are enjoying the dog run acre : ) but once they get used to the fact that chickens are there, interest soon dwindles : ) We also have a few outdoor 🐈cats whom have adopted our farm to live at during the years (win/win as they help keep the field 🐁 mice in check, and they pretty much know to clear out of the field when pups are visiting!) There are three horses on a separate enclosed acre to the north of the dog run acre. The dark brown male is 🐎Shake, tan one is 🐴Classy, and the black and white one is 🐴Gypsy. And again, please thank you for discouraging the dogs from jumping on that fence. It has never been an issue in the past, so just a reminder :-) PLEASE NOTE: This Dog Run Acre is grassy/green with wildflowers 🌻 starting around December 1st - June 15th and dry/brown July 1st - November🏜. We enjoy our Sniffspot humans and pups year-round and have received wonderful reviews, whether it was the dry, hotter summer months, or the green, cooler winter months! We have an automatic water spicket 🚰 for the pups, tight left after entering the Dog Acre gate, then all the way back to the fence on the left, spicket sticking out through fence. There will be several chairs 🪑set up in front of the chicken coop, with table, chairs, and table umbrella, and additionally a small table w/☂️umbrella provided under the pine trees. Bring drinks, snacks, toys, and enjoy! We suggest you book early mornings in the SUMMER months as there is shade under the pine trees 🌲up until around 11 a.m. We are up before 7 a.m., so any time early is fine! 🌄 Please bring your own doggie poop bags! Gather all poop and tie bags and place it in the waste bin at Sniffspot entrance.🗑 Please note that we do have security cameras placed in various positions around property, including at the sniff spot! We have caught many a coyote, mountain lion, dogs, and bobcats wandering around the chicken coop on these cameras and have been able to shew them away several times through the speakers! Enjoy! As you arrive, you will park alongside our quiet street on graded dirt that may be slightly uneven in certain areas. You are visiting a residential home. You'll enter the property using the smaller, side gate and walk your pet(s) on a leash along the driveway for about 100 yards (past the deck). You reach a small, white gate to the right. Once you pass through this gate and it is properly latched behind you, you may unleash your pet. There are steps down to the play space. **Most of the land your pet will play on is uneven** **Land is always beautiful, but is green from first rain until May or June, then brown during summer until first rain** **We are fellow dog lovers! During your visit, our dogs will be enclosed uphill and away about 60 feet from the main play space, with two layers of vegetation and fences in between. Their enclosure is located on the far side of the home behind a different fence that cuts off the NW corner of the yard (see photos). The SniffSpot area DOES NOT share a fence with our dogs. You may hear a random bark from them, but that's it. Other details: The rental area is to the right of the driveway and is fenced in by a 3ft fence along two sides, and a 4ft chain link fence on the other two sides. The area is about 3/4 acre. It includes plenty of room for your pup to run, jump and play! There are small hills, trees, and huge boulders. Natural lighting only. Under the second deck there are hammock swings guests may use. Please, no pets on swings. Visitors may also utilize the deck closest to the house, but pets must be leashed on the deck, as it overlooks the play space and is not part of the fenced area. We may or may not be home. We do not typically interact with visitors to maximize your privacy, but would love to meet you if requested! If you have any questions, comments, or concerns before/during/after your visit, please don’t hesitate to reach out via the communication tool in the app. We very much value your visit and feedback! Wow. Just wow. This place is nothing short of an amazing time I'm still not sure If we had more fun at this sniff spot or our dogs did lol!--- not only is this property great for dogs it was great for us as well. Upon walking in you are greeted with a customized welcoming sign, a table with small gifts for our dogs & a fridge full of stocked water bottles & a basket full of toys. They have a secured tree swing that me and my partner had a blast going on,. a cute gazebo and a few short hiking trails for us and our dogs. My heart was exploding with happiness from all the tiny and thoughtful details the dickonsons put into welcoming us. I have been a sniff spot member for a while now and have frequented many places and by far this was the most fun and accommodating property we ever had the pleasure of visiting. The drive was an 1.5 hours and it was well worth it! We cannot wait to come visit again!!!

This place was magical! My girls and I drove an hour and a half to get to this spot because of the reviews and pictures, and it did not disappoint. It is absolutely beautiful, and many fun things for my girls and me to do! They were able to run, play go on snifaris and it even felt like we were going on our private nature walk to the top of the property and around. It was not a dull moment for the long time we booked. Space was spotless, with toys, water, and excellent communication with the host. There isn’t phone service, but the host offered wifi info outside with the Sniffspot amenities. That was such an awesome surprise, thank you. I’m traveling alone with my girls, so not having cell service makes me a bit nervous sometimes, so when I saw that, I was relieved. I could go on about how much I loved my visit here, but hopefully, my pictures do it justice. Thank you for sharing your space with us!

Great spot for our pups. Both dogs loved exploring off-leash. The property was fully fenced and secure. There was a fridge with waters, goodies for our dogs, and plenty of toys for them to play with.

This is definitely a 5 star Sniffspot! Our pups had a complete blast running on the trails, through the leaves, up and down the hills, and exploring all of the various smells! The property was clean, perfectly secure, easily accessible, and very diverse! It was definitely worth the drive. The hospitality was also top notch with great communication and response time, fresh water for pups and adults, toys, supplies, and gifts! We will definitely be repeat customers!

This is my first Sniffspot and will be my next one for sure. We were greeted with a welcome sign at the gate which was very nice. Once we entered the yard there was water and sanitized water bowls and a special little gift for my pups. Clean yard with lots of areas for the dogs to explore and humans to sit and relax as well. My pups had a blast exploring new surroundings so much that they did not want to leave. Beautiful outdoors getaway from city life. I felt safe being there with my dogs.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Celebrated my baby girl's 1st birthday at this DREAM property! The grounds are stunning - spacious, safe, and serene. Allocate at least 1.5 hours to soak it all in, and don't miss the little hiking trail and tree swing for sunset views! Our hosts were absolute gems, adding special touches for my pup's birthday. Can't wait to book again soon!

We had a wonderful time at Cristina's Sniffspot site today. Lots of leaves on the ground for the dogs to play in, soft dirt to dig in, and up/down trails to roam. This is a place where they can truly be dogs, enjoying all their senses and capabilities. There was nothing they could harm or ruin and so there was no stress for me. I sat on a bench in the sunshine and watched them scout around, so happy and so free. Thank you, Crisitina, for another wonderful adventure at your excellent Sniffspot site. We will return soon!

We had a great time at this private dog yard. Cristina was very generous ... we were running late, and she extended our stay. Not to mention the lovely gifts for the dogs. We all had a good hike. The dogs were tired when we got home. A good time was had by all. We will return.

Another wonderful experience at Cristina's Sniffspot site. My two dogs love the chance to run around, sniff, kick up the leaves, and play in a wide open space. Exploring all around the boulders and huge trees is a big hit. Racing up and down the trails is exciting and a perfect chance for them to chase each other. We will be back soon!

First time here with my two large dogs. Very welcoming with the signs posted and water and bowls available for the dogs. What I liked was that it was a very large property with paths that go up towards the top of the property. It was a sense of going hiking with your dogs which mine absolutely love. Totally fenced in so I didn't have to worry about my dogs getting out and lots of trees and places to sit to enjoy the area. I would definitely recommend this property to bring your dogs to play and explore. I am looking forward to coming back again.

Are dog fields safe?

If you are looking for an adventure, but also looking for safety, Sniffspot dog fields are a great option. While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, distracted dog owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private space for just you and doggy friends you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). What are the requirements to bring my dog to a Sniffspot dog field?

We require that all four-legged friends have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not allow dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules. Make sure to check host rules before visiting to ensure, for instance, that you are following allowable sports activities rules and any special events rules.

Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot field at the same time as me?

No. Facility rentals are for private play time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the area during visits, so this is perfect for a private adventure for you and your doggie friends, and perhaps a human friend. Hosts understand that many guests have dogs in training and are nervous owners. So when you book a Sniffspot dog field you have the entire private spot to yourself. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between time slots so you will not run into other guest dogs or a previous person when coming or leaving in the field parking area. Some hosts may have multiple fields, but there is always a buffer between fields.
