55Great location and just the perfect size for two Corgis. Nice and shady. Plus there was a gazebo with seating underneath for shelter. The area has a slope but the lower portion was leveled enough for a good game of fetch. It was a nice change from just playing in the backyard and our typical neighborhood walks.Daisy W.

55Secure area with plenty of room to run! Water provided as well as other useful items in their sniffspot cabinet. Excellent communication. You can hear a neighbor dog barking but area is really secure so wasn't an issue for our dog. Will definitely revisit!Angela F.

55This was a lovely space for my dogs to be able to explore. Both of them can be reactive at times and it was so peaceful to have a forest like place where I could just let them off leash to run around and sniff to their heart’s content without worry about other dogs or people.Jennifer B.

55This was the PERFECT stop for my big gangly legged girl to stretch her legs and run on our drive from PDX to Newport. Thank you for having towels to use since she was pretty soggy with the rain. But I was super surprised that the area isn't THAT muddy ... probably thanks to the trees and the slant of the lower part. A bit slippery in spots, but human and doggo were A-OK and had a blast!Brenda D.

Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers).
