Our property sits 1200+ feet off of the main road and is a total of 28 acres. There are neighboring properties that are 50 acres and 80 acres so no close homes in most directions. We are located approximately 1 mile from West Branch State Park. The property has a clean swimming pond, a walkable forest area with some established trails that are currently covered with leaves. We are a working farm with about 8 acres of crops. There is a large 3 acre wheat field in the front great for ball throwing. The remaining non crop acres are walking paths with some cut grass and yard. We do not have any livestock but our neighbors have cows. There is a secure fence on one side of our property that keeps the cows in their pasture. They’ve never visited us! Neighboring properties are also farms with over 100 acres of open land, woods and crops surrounding our property with no main or visible roads. You can see houses on one side of the property and that’s where the cows live! They have dogs but they’ve never visited us. We do have 2 well behaved German Shorthaired Pointers named River and Remmy who run freely on the property. However we will keep them inside when guests use the property. We have a bench to sit on in a shaded area around the pond for relaxing. The woods are beautiful to walk about as well. There is a large rock in the woods to take a rest on with an amazing ravine creek view. Our property is large and not fenced so dogs with impeccable recall should enjoy the freedom to play, run, swim, sniff and explore. Leashed walks are also welcome. Long leads can also be used. Because we are so far off of any main roads you will feel comfortable here! Your pups are welcome to swim in the pond during your visit. During recent rains our property stays mainly dry and the woods are relatively dry as well as there are many leaves covering the ground. In the winter when the ground is frozen it’s a beautiful walk.

We have one full acre fully fenced with 4' high goat/sheep woven wire fencing. About 1/3 of it is open grassy field and the other 2/3 is nice shady woods. We in the process of over seeding the field to make the grass more lush this spring. We have added a few surprises down in the woods to make it more fun for our guests and their fur babies. There is an open lean-to where there are dog toys like frisbees and balls availble. There is also be a cute backdrop as a photo op for the dogs.

The Dog Park at Plain Township Veteran's Park in Canton, Ohio is a fully fenced enclosure where owners are responsible for their dogs. A private 2 acre-fully fenced yard with horses and chickens coming home in fall of 2025. We get plenty of wild animals in our yard and have dogs of our own so there are PLENTY! Of smells for your pets to enjoy. All humans and pets will stay inside for your visit unless requested otherwise. Please note* this is our personal yard/home and active farm that we’re constantly working on as the property was built in 1801. I am not a professional/commercial dog park and do it for the joy that I can share with other pets/owners and the extra income since managing a property this large is expensive. Please have patience, respect and kindness for me as I will for you too :) I have a water bowl, toys, poop bags, chairs for humans, a nice patio to sit on, picnic table, and a fire pit patio with string lights all available for use! Hand sanitizer is also available and if it rains, we will open up the garage for a rain shelter with chairs! We do not use any pesticides or fertilizer on our property but will spray for ticks in the spring and summer. We cut the grass 1-2x per week but even more in the spring to keep the grass super short and our house sits on top of a hill for added exercise. When we get a lot of rain, a small pond forms in the back of the yard (pictured) but it’s not there in the extreme summer heat. Happy to accommodate, please let me know if you have any questions!

Great area to take your pups ! There is no fence but as long as the listen decent they have all the room in the world to run . Because of its size I will try to host more than one dog at a time . There is a lake to swim and almost fully wooded. Thanks again for taking the time .

We are located on a no outlet street in Munson (Chardon), Ohio. Our home has several acres; one acre is securely fenced in with a combination of decorative fencing and chain link. All of the gates have an extra "lock" in order to secure they are latched while closed. The base of the fence is routinely inspected for gaps or escape routes and every measure is taken in order to make sure all dogs remain within the fenced in area. The space has a combination of open grass, wooded areas and even trails for dogs and their owners to explore while visiting my spot. The humans may sit on the seating by the woods, the "ice cream bench" slider, the furniture on the deck or the benches around the fire pit. Bags and/or a a pooper scooper are provided for waste. We kindly ask our guests to treat our property with respect. Owners must remain on the premises with their dog(s) at all times. Fresh Water is provided for each visit; the bowl is cleaned and sanitized before each visit.
