I have some space for the dogs. I would love for my yard to be useful for them to play in…. I love dogs, I am an animal lover. I have my Boston terrier. He recently suffered from paralysis, but with love and medicine he was able to walk again… and I would like my yard to serve as a small park for it.

{RULES,"DO make sure your dog is up to date on his vaccinations and parasite control. DO keep your dog on leash until he is in the designated enclosed off-leash area. DO teach your dog to enter the dog park in a calm, orderly manner. DO keep unaltered dogs away from the park. DO pick up your dog’s poop. Cleaning up your dog’s mess is good manners – and more important, it helps to protect against the spread of parasites.",DON’Ts,"DON’T use visits to the dog park to socialize an aggressive dog. Canines that are aggressive with people or other dogs should never be taken to the dog park. Period. DON’T take your dog’s valuables to the park. A dog that feels like his belongings are threatened, can be aggressive. DON’T bring your puppy to the park before checking with your vet. DON’T get distracted. Talking on your phone, texting, emailing and Facebooking are all do park don’ts. Your dog needs to be actively supervised at all times. And of course it goes without saying, but never, ever leave your dog unattended in the park, even for a moment.

Hi! Welcome to our 3/4 acre fully fenced yard. Foliage provides a large amount of privacy, neither neighbors have dogs and are rarely outside. We have a hose you can use, and a gazebo with seating and chairs to relax and an outlet if needed. Our firepit and firewood is available for safe use. Two gates are located on either side of the house which are latched. A third gate is present along our neighbors fence which is latched and secured with a zip tie and bungee - a small gap exists. We have reactive dogs and know the struggle of finding a quiet place to enjoy. If you’d like to avoid tall grass, our yard is mowed/trimmed every other Thursday. Send us a message to determine what days it’s been mowed to enjoy a manicured yard visit. The pool is OPEN. If you plan to enjoy the pool, please be sure your dog is wearing a life jacket and supervised at all times. Do not allow them to scratch at the side of the pool - guide them to use the stairs for entry and exist. NO GLASS near the pool or in the yard. Be sure to check yourself and dogs for ticks after a visit! Continuous tick preventatives are recommended for your outdoor pets! Let us know if you have any questions. We hope you can enjoy Mind Your Manorville! *If you are bringing a foster dog to SniffSpot- they sniff for free! Please let us know. **If you are Black, Indigenous and/or queer, your dog sniffs for free- please let us know! **Our neighbor has rare visitors that bring their dogs- if this ruins your Sniff, please let us know and we will comp your Sniff! We are on Unkechaug land.
