Our spot is a private fenced in rooftop that is approximately 500 square feet in East Williamsburg. Enjoy comfy couches, a hammock chair, tables and WiFi during your stay. We provide dog toys, water, treats and a shaded dog bed. Everyone and every pup is welcome here! Keep in mind the rooftop gets full sun on sunny days. There is an umbrella, but it doesn’t shade the whole space. Accessibility: It is 4 flights of stairs to get to the rooftop. The building does not have an elevator. We live 1 flight down and love dogs! We have a 10 year old Pittie mix named Cocoa. She loves all humans, but not so much dogs, so she’ll stay in our apartment during your rental. Welcome pups & humans! Our fully-fenced dog run is a flat 60x30 feet area with low grass, dog toys, treats, water bowls, and treated with organic pest control for ticks and mosquitoes. Fencing is high for bigs, and goes completely down to the ground for littles! What we make thru Sniffspot goes to the care of animals we rescue! About 1/3 is shaded, Wi-Fi, covered porch and a dedicated shed aka “pup parlor” with sofa and chair to chill out in inclement weather. If added, we can set up the kiddie pool for your visit. Bug spray, sunscreen, hand sanitizer, and water for the humans. Pup playground is located on a 4-acre property (you can also have access to) called Graceland Meadows Animal Rescue & Sanctuary (www.gracelandmeadows.org) where we save pets and farm animals from cruel lives and needless deaths. The spot is named for our recently departed Rocco, our love and inspiration! Sniffspot fee goes to the care of the rescued animals. Currently we’re home to two rescued horses, six chickens, and four companion birds, located in their own separate enclosed areas. We have two rescued dogs permanently sanctuaried here for a year+ and possibly another one or two at times that we’re fostering. My dogs will be inside when you visit — unless you’d like your dog to have a playmate … in which case, happy to discuss and try out a playdate. Great to get zoomies out before or after a leashed hike or training class in our onsite dog training school. Feel free to stop by Buddy's Boutique after playtime for a doggie snack or new toy. All proceeds go to help homeless animals and low-income pet owners! Message before arrival for the combination to the lock on the gate. (It will be changed regularly.) Suggestion from host--lock the gate when you enter so no passersby enter. People sometimes think this is a public space they can walk into when they see guests inside. PARTY PACKAGES AVAILABLE!
