55Great spot! My dog and I had a wonderful time and are both amply worn out! The terrain is a bit treacherous, but my dog is 1/8 mountain goat so he was completely at home! The water features were a real treat, beautiful! Would be nice if there were a “Sniffspot” sign posted like at most other places. So grateful for wonderful places like this for off leash exercise. 55This spot is so beautiful and once you start walking it seems like it just keeps going! There are beautiful little trickling waterfalls on the property. My dogs had a lot of fun hopping around on the trails. The hosts were very helpful with communication. The parking area is pretty close to the road and some areas are slick so I kept my senior dog on a leash, but we all had such a fun time exploringAnna W.

55Jessa's place is simply awesome! My dogs get SO much exercise playing on the trail going up the mountain. They especially like to tussle in the picnic table area! The mudslide is incredible. 55We had a lovely time. Our dog adored the trail off leash and the couple of flat camping zones were nice fetch stops. When we got to the landslide we stopped and our dog had a blast running up and down. When we first arrived we used another guests’ photo of parking near an airstream to establish we were in the right place, and we guessed to head up to the right. I feel like the description prepared us for variables, ie another dog on the property at the main building (he looked adorable and like he was not at all interested in us) and the landslide on the trail. We had gotten a late start so we only had 30 minutes but our dog had good exercise and enrichment. We did not come across any stream or place for a water break, so bring water for your doggo ☺️jennifer b.

Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks.
