There's a fence but it's a little lossey goosey, my dog is very drivey so if she saw another animal she would've been through it with barely any effort. It didn't feel secure enough for me to take my dog reactive dog again but it's a nice spot, especially for a friendly pup. I'd take my other dog. When we were looking for it, a few houses back there was a loose cattle dog wandering around which could've been a disaster. Overall I'm happy. Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks.
