June 22: The parking area to the fully-fenced area have been mowed short. We have tried to eliminate as many foxtails as possible. I am waiting on a tractor service for the hillside - the grass is taller w/ foxtails so recommend avoiding until it is mowed. SUMMER: Recommend AM visits before 10am or evening after 5pm. Our spot is full sun with very limited shade. We are trying to eliminate the foxtails but we have a large property and cannot guarantee we get all of them. **Horses visible in adjacent property occasionally Additionally, guests can enjoy the adjacent hillside which is partially-fenced. You are welcome to enjoy this off-leash or, if you're more comfortable, take a little stroll through the grass. NOTE: There may be foxtails and ticks in this area.

We are closed from November to next year Spring. See you next year! 🐾 Welcome to Maxie Pool! The first private swimming pool in the area, designed just for dogs to splash, swim, and have fun! 🌞 About the Pool -Chlorinated and professionally cleaned weekly. -Pool depth & entry steps: The pool goes up to 9 ft deep on the east side, but most of the west side is waist-high shallow water. There are 3 wide steps where dogs can easily enter, rest, or leave the pool. -Dog life jackets in XS/S/M/L sizes (one of each), pool toys, and treats available. -Solar-heated by the sun through solar panels, so water temperature depends on sunshine and weather (not a jacuzzi or gas-heated pool). Due to the recent weather, the pool water temperature is around 65-70F degree at noon in Mid October. We had some big pups(golden retriever, bernedoodle, and labs) come to swim, and they all had a lot of fun. However, the pool is unsuitable for people to swim in October. - Trees provide shade during most of the daytime in the backyard for guests to sit and relax. -The backyard has a mix of stone, mulch, pebbles, and turf, giving dogs plenty of textures and areas to explore. -A few extras provided: sunscreen, wipes, a privacy tent, and life vests for humans to make your visit easier. ✨ Before You Book -This is a dog pool, so the focus is for your pups to enjoy the water. Even though we clean after every visit and run the filter constantly, dogs naturally bring in hair, oils, dust, and dirt. This is not a resort-style pool for people. Water may be clearer on weekdays than weekends. -Please brush your dog before swimming to reduce shedding(brushes are provided) 👥 Guests & Dogs -2 guests included with the first dog. 2/3 Acre Fully Fenced Private Dog Agility field

Our Sniffspot is located on a quiet dead end in the back of Montara, CA. It is fully fenced. It contains 2 fields, a lower and upper, both suitable for use. I will have agility courses set up a portion of the time. Please do not move equipment if there is a numbered course set up. You are free to use tunnels and jumps, but please be careful on the contact obstacles if they are set up. Please watch your dogs and do not allow them to mark the obstacles, tunnels, jumps or weave poles. If they do, can you kindly rinse with the watering can. Do not place any human items or treats on the dog walk. Do not rest or lean on the dog walk. It is an expensive piece of equipment, not a table. Note: there are chickens and horses next door at times, please do not allow your dogs to bark or charge the fence at them. Also, do not let your dogs repeatedly run up to the horses if they are near the fence, and potentially scare them. They are not as visible from the lower field. I have an older dog that sometimes barks from inside the house but she is not visible. Thanks for exploring our Sniffspot!
