Update: As of May 18, the grass has dried out considerably. The field has been freshly mowed to keep the stickers down but the green patches are harder to find now. Still large, fenced with some nice spots of shade but no longer lush. Fetch Field is an enclosed but wide open, natural field with plenty of room for your dogs to roam. Country Serenity is a 1/2 acre fully fenced non-irrigated pasture which is on our 20 acre farm. Please Note: The spot will have limited reservations from 7-7 to 7-18 due to road construction that will block access until after 3 pm. Please be aware that there may be detours and equipment on Road 27. The spot is partially covered with medium bark to keep down the weeds and native grass. Given our rural location, foxtails, stickers and other nuisance weeds do exist, especially along the fence lines, as we do not use herbicides. Please come prepared for these conditions and gauge your risk tolerance for your pet. Risks may include foxtails, stickers, ticks, mosquitos, gnats, flies, uneven ground, mud. Hours of operation are generally 7:30 am-7:30 pm, but no lighting is provided so hours fluctuate with the dawn and dusk. Adjacent to the dog park is a barn with 2 friendly dwarf goats and some chickens. Enjoy the views of our olive orchard, a seasonal pond and 360 degree panorama of beautiful farmland right from the park. Please be aware that this is a working farm in an agricultural area so you may see and hear farm equipment and crop dusters in the vicinity. Let us know if you want to visit our farm store before or after your visit. We have our Gold Medal winning Frate Sole Olive oil and Copper Hill balsamic vinegar, local Woodland farmers like us. All our SniffSpot funds are donated to PitCrew Rescue to raise money for a surgery that our foster dog needs. Our pool has been great for our dog after her TPLO surgery. I highly recommend water therapy for recovering from injuries. Our dog doesn’t like jumping in, so she uses the steps on both sides of the pool to get in and out.
