This will be an excellent sniff spot. Seth walked me around the property and pointed out where all of the fences were. He pointed out as well, there was one portion of a wooden fence that he had temporarily repaired but I had not yet put the metal fencing across the bottom. And of course, that’s where my dog decided to go escape! She did come back into the yard and I don’t fault him at all.  My other dog was too big to get through! They had a grand time running through all the brushy areas and I could see were in the summertime, The pond will be a big asset!  Seth is very friendly and helpful. He offered me toys for them to play with, freshwater, and towels. He’s just getting started with this and I think he will be very successful.  The only caveat I have for anyone with a very reactive dog, in the back there is a home that has cattle, and they had seven Great Pyrenees in the pasture with them. When my dogs approached the fence, all seven of the Pyreneesup. I was able to get my dogs to come away from the fence and go into the other part of the acreage, but just be aware of that.  I would highly recommend this for anyone who has any type of hunting dog, especially that likes to run and smell and push its way through the bushes, tracking a scent.

What an awesome property, kept by a stand-up, stand-out host, Seth! We have visited twice now and left with deeply happy dogs always. The house and “front yard” take up about 1/4 of the place; we like to walk around to the “backyard” and enter/close the cattle gate, giving us the rest of the land to run securely, without the dogs poking around Seth’s house. There’s a variety of terrain to explore: short grass, tall grasses, scrub, and trees! Thank you for having us!

Seth property was perfect. My dogs did not have a way to get out of the fence. 10 acres was a ton of room for my two dogs and they loved it! And plenty of fresh water for them.
