The fenced areas felt safe, there was plenty of seating to relax, and having a bathroom on-site was such a thoughtful bonus. The owners were incredibly kind and welcoming. There are various areas to be with the dogs including hiking trails complete with Adirondack chairs and a meditation platform, flat grassy areas with trees, a large fireplace with chairs and pastures between animal visits- all of whom are sweet and even my shy dog felt happy, secure and curious. The dogs had a wonderful time, one of our dogs even played chase between the fence with a sweet mini donkey named Cinnamon. The farm is a paradise. Plenty of room to roam and felt completely safe for my dog. We were greeted by John when we pulled in to let us know about to farm and that we could come see the animals and pet them & he also told us about the trails. He made sure there was fresh water for our pup as well!
I brought my kids and they had the best time with the animals & Brenda & John. Hayden their farm hand also brought one of the ponies out to pet!

The ride to the farm is peaceful and beautiful and you can pull right in the gate and unload. They will add signs at some point (they JUST opened) but look for the address on the fence and open the red gate and enter. There’s plenty of room to park and unload and turn around. There’s a big bowl of fresh water for the dogs and a can close by to dispose of your toodles. There are hiking trails you can access or you can stay at the bottom where it’s flat. There’s so much space and so much to see. I think we will book for an hour and a half next time. Our dogs had a blast and they are all passed out. Highly recommend this spot. Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). How do I know if a dog park works for my dog?
