It is part of and behind the main boarding kennel area, but it was pretty quiet while we were there. Since the last time we visited wonderful fencing improvements with a solid fence partitioning this area from the main kennel area. When I showed up, they had someone else in the area I booked but they had another comparable area for me to use. It was 12 acres, well mowed, with a pond and fully fenced. Note: for those with reactive dogs, I did need to pass through an area where there was visibility to other dogs through a fence to enter the space. 55I can’t say enough about this property. To have 20 acres totally fenced in is so great! The owner, Joe, showed me the east part of the property and was very friendly. There are 2 smaller ponds in the beginning of the walk- those were pretty stinky, so of course my golden immediately swam in them. Further back is a cleaner pond that helped clean her off :) Both of my dogs absolutely loved running free over this much space. So many thing to explore and sniff. I would say that the ground closer to the fence is pretty uneven so wear good footwear or stick to the path that is worn down by the 4-wheeler.
There’s a hose you can use to clean off the dogs too so that is very helpful!!

Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks.
