55Great spot, open and well set up for a great romp! And clear communication. Do note that there’s a compost pile (with a fence, but a low one) that drew my food-obsessed Lab mix’s attention for a while, but he’s a puppy and is just learning what’s on the menu ;) Alyssa S.

Such a great backyard! Very clear directions, easy parking and access, all the key things from poop bags to a bowl of fresh water. And lots of different textures to explore, plants to sniff etc. Leo had a few long sniffs at some interesting human stuff, too, like buckets and steps and a pool ladder. :) Lissa was great about communication. This was Bear and Blues first sniff spot experience and it was terrific !! The yard was secure enough for my dogs of very different sizes. Bear is 100 lbs and Blue is 20 but I felt completely comfortable that they were both safe. The different kinds of terrain were fun for them, gravel , mulch , grass, a great woodsy area. The neighborhood kids rode by on bikes and normally my two rascals would have barked like maniacs but for some reason they just happily watched them ride by. I think because the vibe of Lisa’s yard is very relaxed and low key , the whole neighborhood seems wonderful actually. We will absolutly be back. We enjoyed our time there as much as our pups did. ❤️

Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers).
