This one a few minutes from our house is one of our favorites hands down, with beautiful landscaping, friendly homeowners who put out ice water for the pups, a handful of toys to fetch, & a lighted pergola with zero-gravity rockers for the humans.

My dog is large and mainly hangs out in the grassy area and wouldn’t mess with the gate, but I can see how smaller dogs might be able to slip out. The person before us left the garage gate wide open and the stake was actually stuck in the middle of the driveway; if you are using someone else’s home, please be courteous! The spot is on a fast road so there was occasional traffic noise, otherwise it is a very quiet spot without other dogs or people. My average sized golden could probably squeeze through the bars of the entry gate if she was determined to but fencing is secure around the entire property. My dogs came home happy, tired, and muddy! It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks.
