55What a wonderful time we had at this incredible property! Trails were well marked, it was peaceful and beautiful and we loved learning a bit more about the property's history too. My dogs had a blast and we will 100% be back! Thank you so much!Jenny E.

55Lots of trails for the pups to explore. I don't think we even got through them all! Maps on trees came in quite handy and so did the Outhouse which was very clean. Great place to explore off leash!Trina C.

55This place was exactly as described by the host. I received a message before my visit letting me know that the fields had been mowed and baled for hay, but that the trails would still be visible and they were as described. There was a nice little area at the beginning where you could grab a map of the property and other items you might need from the host. We did get lost while walking in the fields and kept going in a circle and could not find the other part of the trail, but it worked out due to my dog needing some water and a break, so we headed back to the car so she could get a drink. My intention for coming today was to work on off leash training for my 10 month old puppy. This place was perfect for it. It was nice to have space to yourself with different terrain and distractions. I definitely recommend this place and will more than likely bring my other dog one day to explore more of the property.Stephanie L.

55Such a great area. My dogs loved exploring everything! The trails are well marked. We canโt wait to go back and explore some more.
Getting there was delayed bc my gps sent me to the wrong location with the coordinates. I suggest just going to the intersection of Thick and Dowdy and follow the directions from there. Jen B.

FAQ about our Hillsboro dog parks
Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 97% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the Hillsboro area are 5 stars.
How do I know if a dog park works for my dog?
You can filter Sniffspot dog parks by fencing and distractions. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our 74 fully fenced dog parks in the area. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our 9 off leash areas where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can also filter locations to avoid other domestic animals and people. We also recommend reading reviews and reaching out to the host with any questions.
