55Everything was great! If you have a reactive pup and are looking to start socializing them slowly, I highly recommend this spot. The potbelly pigs were honestly the sweetest and so full of gentle energy that both my boys were able to interact with them and not go over threshold. We did see one pup (and its owner across the street) but the fencing was very secure and they did not get too close. My only comment is regarding the gate…if you’re like me and you tend to miss obvious signs - the gate you open to get in is the one on the left - NOT the green one lol Keila R.

Lovely big country yard, very well kept and with a very secure fence. Shade trees, sunny sections, a table and chairs (with a bug-zapper!) in a covered area in case of random showers. The dogs loved exploring new sniff spots, lots of chickens & even a couple of pot-bellied pigs. I was able to practice recall with my two Aussies when they were off-leash and off exploring new things. Lucky for me, they did come back when it was time to go! Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers).
