55This was our first visit. The website said 30 miles but navigation said it was an hour drive. I messaged to let Tracey know we would be a few minutes late. She wrote back that no one was after us and to stay our full 60 minutes. That was really nice. When I let the dogs through the gate into the grassy pasture, they both took off; my chill Dane mix, Hambone, at a lope and my bully mix, Ruthie, at full speed. It's nice they have green grass in summer. It's not lush grass like a neighborhood park. It's like fresh mowed pasture grass. There was a bucket for water, help yourself to the hose to fill it. A box of dog toys including ropes for tug, balls to fetch or chase and chew toys. Poop bags were also available. After the dogs had their run, they drank water and sat in the shade house. Three big lawn chairs for people and some fabulous Fox Holes were there for the dogs to dig in. Ruthie loved the holes. Even though it was nearly ten degrees cooler than home, she was panting so hard, I foolishly poured some water into one of the holes. She went crazy over that and soon had a mud hole fit for a pig's dream house. She was in and out of the fox holes for the remainder of our visit with speed bursts of racing across the field in between. Hambone spent his time cooling off in the shade, walking the fence line, smelling the smells and exploring in his low energy style. His other mix is Pyrenees and he has a real thing for making sure fences are secure. Ruthie was dry in minutes and the mud had brushed right off. They did not want to leave so next time I may have to book another hour. Clean facilities, very private and secure. We'll be back.Susan T.

An absolutely beautiful place to take your dogs ! Easy to find and lots of room for them to run there was water available and toys . A nice shady covered spot with chairs to cool off if needed and the host was very responsive we will definitely be back soon and the farm animals was a big plus I think I enjoyed it as much as the dogs

It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks.
