We have a fire pit with seating in one of the grass acres. There are no longer Alpacas and goats here as they’ve moved to the farm down the road. But you will come across Canadian Geese and Wild Turkeys, and sometimes Deer. As you drive by the red barn to the parking area you will sometimes see our dog friendly dog Butch in his gated area most likely sleeping! 😄 Once you reach your parking it is private and you are alone.

Our private, fully fenced half acre yard is the perfect place to let your (reactive or otherwise) dog just be a dog and get some freedom! Please check in at the front desk to get the key to the yard, and clean up after yourself. There are water bowls in the yard, but please bring your own water. There are trees providing shady areas throughout the day. If bringing back the key when we are not open, please put it in the Mailbox, located beside our Front Doors. When we are open, our receptionists will gladly take the key back from you! All the fees go directly to the animals in our case, and we are a registered charity and no-kill shelter. The arena is 8450sq ft of sand, fully fenced and located on a horse farm. There is a separate entrance near the parking lot for easy arrival and great for dogs who do not like to see other animals/people. Reactive dogs can be accommodated and are welcome - we know they need play time too! Pooper scooper/pitchfork and trash can are provided, please clean up after yourself and your dog. We ask that you do not let them excessively dig in the footing - a rake has been provided if needed. There may be jumps, large balls and dog toys in the arena which you are welcome to use. Our farm is located on 100 acres of beautifully scenic property and we have opened 26 acres of that space for you to explore. Our property is on predominantly flat elevation with trails, multiple fields and roughly 7 acres of forest. While the forest can be dense in spots, it is very walkable and presents a lovely spot to hike through. We have 5 ponds as well as a stream that runs the width of our property and travels through the forest. We have a myriad of wildlife that you may see or encounter during your adventures here. These could include (but are not limited to) great blue herons, muskrats, rabbits, geese, ducks, deer and coyotes. We do have livestock and a guardian dog on the property (they are fully fenced) as well as family pets so please respect their space and ensure your dogs are leashed anytime you are nearing the barn, paddock or barnyard areas.

Area 3 (11,913 sq ft) is great for medium and large dogs. Area 5 is our inground pool which is heated and great for dogs and humans. Area 6 is our freshwater filtered splash pond, great for dogs to learn how to swim. Lastly we have a members only dog park (33,706 sq ft). You and your dog have to pass a recall/body language test to make sure everyone is safe, combined with security cameras our dog park really takes it to a new level of fun and safety.
