55Without anything to compare to, because this was ohr very first time using Sniffspot, we give this spot a solid 5 stars. It exceeded our expectations and our dogs were so so happy there. S soon as we pulled up they understood the assignment and had a blast! It's a lovely property with a well taken care of fenced area for the dogs to roam free and a safe view of some goats and ducks. The dogs were very curious and entertained by the goats but were a safe enough distance away that I wasn't nervous about the dogs disturbing them. There was trash can onsite to dispose of trash and a bucket of fresh water for the dogs to drink. A couple of chairs and some balls and we had everything we needed. Bring your own poop bags. It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
