55Great place for dogs to run and play. The island, with the gazebo, was perfect for Biggie to go to when he was chasing the ball thrown into the lake. He was exhausted after doing his belly flop and then swimming to retrieve his favorite toy. Hunter checked out the yard behind the house. Not where I wanted him to be. He also checked out the horse's paddock, another spot I did not want him to visit. He needs to continue his training, listen, and behave, but the big grassy area was just too much for him to control himself. Eventually, with lizzie's help, he returned and stayed with me. He had a good run and was nowhere near the horse.
I am handicapped and the walkway was perfect for my scooter. Had no need to go to the island and walk up the steps but could have.
Dante's was clean and safe for the dogs. Great communication from the owner. Beautiful place to take the pups and let them play.Sharon W.

55My 3 dogs had an absolute blast, clean environment and the pool was so much fun for my labs. They ran around the big yard the second they got out of the car! This place is also small dog friendly which was perfect for my Pomeranian.

Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers).
