55Well fenced, lots to sniff and see, even in the pre-spring brown. My pup enjoyed running, exploring the gardens and porch, and hunting possibly imaginary mice in the long grass. He was ready to go after just half an hour, tired and prepared to nap. Lots of evidence of other pups, but for my little guy, that just added to the smells. 55My 10 month old puppy had a wonderful time at Brittany's. We live in a condo so her space where she doesn't have to be leashed is limited. She's never had the chance to run free and, run she did. I was comfortable since the yard was fenced in. It was a pretty setting too with wild flowers in the field outside the yard. There were two big dogs in the yard next door who barked at her but she was thrilled and ran over to greet them. They weren't 'hostile' - they just were trying to figure out what this tiny little dog was. We will definitely being going back. I've already got a couple people with dogs who plan to visit too. 55I drove 75 minutes to this spot from MN because I didn't check how far away it was until after I booked. But no regrets as the host was very kind and the their property is so beautiful and secluded. There is a neighbor with 2 dogs on one side of the fence but the area is so big it's really not a problem. Also, it was a safe way for us to work on reactivity. My dog was so busy sniffing out the pee-mail and toys from the host's 2 pitties (both were inside the house), she didn't even bother to go up to the neighbor's dog at the other side of the fence. The lawn was well maintained and clean. There were maybe 2 spots of the fence that a toy breed might dig and escape through but most medium and large dogs won't have a problem unless your dog loves to jump very high. They have cattle fencing. My girl is 75 lbs so we did not have issues. The host has been very responsive with messages and so helpful making sure we could find our way there and get through the gate. My baby loved playing fetch and exploring the yard. All in all, we love this spot and wish we lived closer. I hope Sniffspot users in WI or MN border are aware of this spot and give it a try if they have bigger dogs that need space to run without seeing people or traffic. The views are so peaceful and lovely. Those are 2 lucky pitties living at that home!Tracy T.
