55A wonderful large fenced in area for your dog to explore off leash. It features trees, a small hill and grassy open spaces. Note that the property is broken up into several different fenced in areas, it isn't one 10 acre fenced area. Our host showed us around the different areas, and we got a walkie talkie to carry in case we needed to contact them. Our dog loved it, since she normally has to be on a leash on her walks.Susan J. 55Amazing and huge property!! Victoria's husband came out at the beginning of our visit to give us a tour. Very friendly and communicative. Both of our dogs absolutely loved exploring the entirety of the property and everywhere was safely fenced in. My personal favorite section was the beautiful meadows. 55MY DOG LOVED IT!! The address is wrong on the post, but it's close to that area, make sure you reach out ahead of time so you know where to go. The space is lovely and well fenced my pup had a blast running through the fields and woods. I recommend boots for the humans!! There are some groundhog holes a few feet into the wood lines from the back pasture. My girl had a blast sniffing them out. the people who owned the property seem lovely and welcoming. Natalie R. 55Such a great spot! My dogs and I stayed for 2 hours and they had a fantastic time. The property is separated into multiple pastures but all fenced in, except for the unfenced part which Victoria will point out. I was concerned that the fencing wouldn’t be enough to keep my escape artist dogs in but it definitely was! Victoria said to keep an eye out for holes in the fence but we didn’t see any. It was so nice to be able to let them run and play off leash without worrying.
It’s a farm, so there is wildlife- we saw a few deer outside the fence. The hosts put away their animals before we got there but the neighboring property has pigs, goats, and chickens, and a small dog that barked at us for a few minutes. (Very easy to avoid if you just move your dogs into a different pasture.) My dogs were interested in the pigs that came up to the fence but not bothered; be careful if your dog is triggered by large animals.
Victoria is wonderful and came out to meet us and give us a quick tour of the property. She also warned us that there is poison ivy and poison oak in the unfenced portion. You definitely want to wear long pants and bring some tick spray!
Also be warned if your dog rolls in smelly things, there’s of course some poop they’ll find. (But not much!) I’ll probably take advantage of the wash station next time.Gina S.
