A large, open 1.25 acre fenced in yard with multiple small hills that is bordered on the west side by a public walking trail (with 6 foot fence) and on the north side by Rice Creek (with 5 foot fence). Note that the creek is not directly accessible from the Sniffspot. During the winter months, deer and foxes pass just outside of the fenced in yard, while in warmer months the creek entices additional wildlife as well as the occasional canoeist or kayak. Agility equipment pictured are available during the warmer months and are not available in the winter. There's abundant street parking as we are located at a dead-end. Auggie Land is a dog park located at 871 24 1/2 St in Chetek, Wisconsin. It is a small dog-friendly park that features agility equipment, a dog washing area, and a spacious field for dogs to run and play. This park provides a safe and enjoyable environment for both dogs and their owners to socialize and exercise.

FYI - Early spring is a great time to visit! You really can see all the paths, the lay of the land when the trees are void of leaves. The riverbed, grass field, and smaller fenced area are all open for play! We have a beautiful piece of land with a (mostly) fenced perimeter and 1/3 acre fully fenced doggy play area. If you drive in by the picnic table you are in the center of 18 acres to play on and will be quite a distance from the road. ** This time of year you may need to park at the entrance off the road but walk in because of it still being soft with snow melt and spring rains. There are mowed walking paths to the beautiful Kinnickinnic river, far away from other people and animals. You and your dog will love it here! The river is cold and easy for dogs to hop in and out, (not easy for humans right now). If you want to keep them out of the water there is about 10 acres of open field where you park, separate and above the river so you don't need to have them down by the water at all. (although most dogs gravitate to there!)
