55Easy to find and park. Lovely large south-facing sunny yard. My boy had a great time sniffing all the new smells and getting his zoomies out. A thoughtful box of toys, fresh water and treats provided, including a convenient spot to deposit the waste. Obviously there must be a dog living in the fenced yard behind the lot, as my guy kept sniffing the fence line, but we never saw any other dog. Lovely spot, we'll be back!Susan M.

55What a lovely spot!! The yard was clean, with plenty of room for a good doggie romp! 😁 Toys, water, treats, and poo bags were available, and it was so peaceful. The little shelter dog I’d brought just loved it!! The wooden fence is solid, with gaps in between the slats, so it is possible to see another dog, and it’s 4’ tall. My own dog would’ve been just fine, as was this shelter sweetie; but I didn’t want to bring one of our bigger dogs, on the off-chance he/she might try to jump the fence (probably would never happen, but I’m extra-cautious with shelter dogs, whom I don’t know very well). Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
