Top Public & Private Dog Parks in Moseley, VA

Me and Otto had a great time here. If you enjoy walking trails and nature take your dogs here. They had a shaded area with a picnic table with I believe a 5 gallon jug of water and a bowl. Nicely mowed grass on the trails. Perfect for your dogs to run around and sniff. Everything was fenced nicely so your dogs are completely safe. Would definitely come by again. This is my kind of style. Not only did Otto get his exercise but I did as well running and playing tug with him and enjoying the sunshine. Highly recommend very peaceful as well. Oh and the Sasquatch figure they had was a nice little feature lol Otto starting woofing at it quietly lol can’t lie I kinda got startled a bit but it was funny.

My dogs had a great time! Plenty of room for them to run and explore off leash in a secure area..the host was great with communication and the spot was easy to locate! We will be back!

This sniffspot has the bonus of an enjoyable country road drive before you even arrive. The driveway was clearly marked, and I parked at the end of the drive. There is both a front and back pasture/grassy area, and both are very fun for the dogs to explore because several paths have been mowed throughout the space (more surface area for sniffing!). Behind the back-side grassy area is a lovely wood with several trails and a little creek running through it. It was a quick trip for us, took us about fifty minutes to explore front and back, and we walked about 0.9 miles. I will definitely return and maybe bring a snack and enjoy it at the picnic table in the wooded area while my dog enjoys all the novel smells. There are some chickens on your way to the front pasture from the back. They are protected in a coop, but if you have a large dog with high prey drive (like I do) this could cause a problem if you aren’t expecting it. I saw it well before my dog did, and I used the opportunity to train him to not act a fool when walking by chickens. If you decide to do this (de-sensitizing through exposure), you should have enough control over your dog that the chickens do not get scared. You should not let your dog bark at or be hyper focused on them. This is a great sniffspot and I hope Kasey continue’s to allow folks to explore it.

The property is huge! Our dogs had an amazing time running in both the front and back pasture. I really appreciated having such a gorgeous area that’s fully fenced to practice recall with our puppy.

The dogs had a great time exploring and the trails are well-maintained. There’s a picnic table and the host provided fresh water as well. Kasey is easy to reach and her husband was helpful as well. I recommend boots for after it rains!

Kasey’s place is one of our favorite Sniffspots. The woods are beautiful, the trails are kept mowed, and I love that there are two fenced areas where my dog can romp off leash. We prefer the back area because we like the woods, and there are so many trails! And my dog especially loves the mud! The picnic table is a nice place to take a break and enjoy the peace and quiet. Kasey has always been responsive and easy to work with. Highly recommend!

Kasey’s property is massive, beautiful, & very well maintained! There were a few water stations and bowls set up throughout. My dogs had the time of their lives exploring all the trails and romping around. We will definitely be back :)

My dogs had the time of their lifes! Lots of space to sniff, dig and explore. Great communication with the host and easy to get there. There’s plenty of shade from the trees in the picnic area but definitely bring cold drinks because it gets hot.

This was a lovely spot to take our crazy girl to run around. Clear trails, water stations, fully fenced… it was exactly what we needed! Thank you Kasey, we will definitely be back!

Probably our all time favorite spot! It’s a bit of a drive for us but it’s worth it every time!

Gorgeous trails and the perfect pit stop on my way to a dog event for my dogs and boarders. I’m going to try and line up a stop on the way back home too!

Nice trails for romping (some full of buttercups this morning ;-) and great field for full out running. Great, safe place for dogs and people. We’ve been here a handful of times and plan to return.

Wonderful sniffspot, easy to find, Plenty of water stations, shaded and our pups absolutely had a ball. If it’s pollen season, bring wet wipes. The trails are cut, so we got a lot of walking and running in. The area is fenced so I felt very safe with my doggies roaming free

This is dog paradise! It gets muddy, but that just made it more fun for our pups. The fence is secure, and fresh water was thoughtfully provided. It was an awesome spot to visit! Our dogs had a blast! :)

Kasey does everything she can to be sure your visit is great. This is the best Spot for many miles!

Chance, my Whippet & Benny, my very energetic rescue who is mostly a herding breed with some guard dog thrown in, and also very lovable; both had a great time!

It was a little muddy in areas but the boys loved it. They love wandering around and sniffing. So much to explore here and it’s a good way to wear out the lab while letting the arthritic dog take things at his own pace.
