55This is the most wonderful spot. My guy loves it and so do I. He can run to his hearts content and I can rest or run with him. The place to park comes up quickly when you turn to go down the street so don't drive slow as you drive in.

55This is a great spot! It's nice and big, with gentle slopes. Beautiful views! The fence looks to be about 4 ft high. It seems well maintained, with no gaps. It contained our large, athletic dogs well. Chairs are provided for humans. The owner of the spot met us when we got here. She is super nice! There is water in the enclosure, but it's been sitting around for a while -- quite a bit of algae. If you don't want your dog drinking that, bring your own water. The owner breeds Aussies and border collies, and there is a lot of barking from her dogs, which are plainly visible. But their runs are separated from the sniffspot by several hundred feet. Our reactive dog was not bothered by them. We will be back Alex B.

Found out from the Sniffspot owner that this neighbor has shot stray dogs and put their severed heads on display. And the back pasture gate does not securely fasten at Happy Farm either and the water trough has brackish water which I have to keep my dogs away from.
I will drive the extra 13 miles to Debbie’s place in Oakdale, gladly! This is a clean, safe place to run your dog. Love it here! She provides fresh water for your dogs 🐾❤️Mary S.

Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers).
