When you arrive, simply park horizontally next to the fence and enter through the black metal door, which will be open for your convenience. A Note on Safety and Park Care: Please be aware that ground squirrels also call our property home, so there may be some holes. We recommend wearing appropriate footwear (no heels) for your safety. To help us keep the ground safe and beautiful for all our guests, we also ask that you prevent your dog from digging, as this can create tripping hazards. We know some pups just love to dig! If your dog does make a hole, we kindly ask that you use the provided shovel to fill it in and return the area to its original condition before you leave. Rainy Day Amenities: On rainy days, our rinsing station is available to help clean up muddy paws before heading home. We also ask that you please leave any dirty tennis balls in the blue tub with soapy water, located on the other side of the fence, to keep them fresh for the next guest. Two beautiful horses have moved in next door! While they are not always visible, you might hear a friendly “hee” every now and then. To ensure a harmonious environment for everyone, we kindly request that you maintain a distance of at least 5 feet from our neighbor’s fence at the top of the property. Keep in mind when you bring your dog we turn to work in the yard and also rent out a building in the back to Airbnb. So please make sure your dog is friendly with people.

Then you’ll love our yard- with extra big boulders for the whole family to enjoy climbing or places to rest and listen to the sounds of nature. A few “heads up” about our spot: - the path to get to backyard is a bit steep. 👟Perhaps plan to wear appropriate footwear🙃 -like most places in San Diego there’s a possibility of snakes and we did have a recent sighting, so please use caution - the fencing on bottom right of yard is a different material, but still secure without any ways for pups to get out, but it can at times shift with weather and may be more possibilities for a pup to go under (I try and check often)🌿 - on the bottom left of the yard their are fire stick succulents🌱 on my neighbors property-the sap of these plants are toxic, so best to stay away! -lastly, if you are planning to come on a weekend morning- our neighbors typically play pickle ball at this time which can be a bit noisy and a distraction to some pups- they’re usually done by 11am. We are located in central San Diego, just up the hill from Snapdragon Stadium in Mission Valley, and are easy to access from major freeways including the 15, 8, 163 and 52. Our property is double-fenced, which brings peace-of-mind to our guests. The top patio area, where you will enter and exit, is fully-fenced and secure, as is the lower yard with its own gate. Our home is in a quiet neighborhood, on a dead end street. Street parking is always available either right in front of our house or close by. You will have private access through a side gate to our backyard. Dogs love to run up and down the dirt slope in our yard to chase balls and expend their energy. The slope leads to our flat, lower dirt yard which is perfect for your dogs to run free and explore. We do have a turf area under the play structure, as well as inside the enrichment area. We provide everything you could possibly need during your visit including lots of balls, Chuck It launchers for fetch, toys, water bowls, a hose, enrichment activities, plenty of seating, shade, a cot for the pups, towels, and more - all of which are included in the base price! We also offer lots of fun upgrades to add-on including a giant ball pit, kiddie pool, pup ice creams, bubble machine, puzzle toy bin, and a self-service bath station! We are open for early morning visits starting at 6am, and we have plenty of lighting for after dark visits as well! Note that in the winter and spring, the lawn is mostly green (weeds). In the summer and fall, it’s mostly dirt, hence the variety of landscape photos. I don’t grow anything of my own on the lawn or spray any pesticides, so that’s how the land naturally grows and changes based on the season. Welcome to our SniffSpot! Our property sits on a 1/2 acre lot and the yard designated for the pups faces a canyon with beautiful hill views. Our property is fully fenced and extremely dog friendly. We also have a fenced pool which you can use as an add-on service for $25 (Sent via Venmo) as long as the owners don’t allow their dogs in the landscaping. Our Sniffspot is clean and spacious allowing for your pups to get a good run in or a swim on a warm day. A MAXIMUM of four people and NO CHILDREN are permitted in our spot.

Fully Fenced Private Yard (centrally located near SDSU)

Chain link on both sides allows views into neighbors’ yards, both of whom have dogs and one of whom have kids. They are rarely in their yards. The back of the yard that borders the canyon is a wooden fence which you cannot see through. You need to park at the bottom of the hill on a different street and walk up the path to access the back of the yard and I will leave the gate unlocked for you. I will send more detailed directions when you book. Do not park in front of my house. I will ensure my dogs are inside when sniff spots are booked but if they see your dogs out the window they may bark. I will leave out some bowls of water and per your request can fill a kiddie pool with water for swimming at the top of the hill closest to my house. You will not have hose access. Please do not enter the astroturf section of my backyard that borders the house and has a separate fence.

We recently purchased our home and I would love to share my backyard with your pups to help get the zoomies out or to just bask in the sun! Our yard provides a mixture of terrain including turf, grass, DG, mulch & rocks! Along with lots of space for play, you have the ability to add on our top deck which includes a refreshing pool & a hill the pups love to run up!
