55I love going to a spot where I can get some exercise in along with the dogs. This place is really cool and seems like a hiking trail without the traffic. I have a reactive dog, so it was peaceful not having to worry about that. I wish I lived a little bit closer but was worth the drive. Thank you for sharing your space with us!Addie A.

55Easy to find, trail is awesome but a little muddy, which is to be expected with all the melting snow. Just wear good traction shoes and you'll be fine. Host very responsive and property well maintained. My dog loved all the smells and trails. Will be back!!Kerchelle F.

55There is a nice trail going back into the property that goes up and around and my dogs loved running around and exploring some downed trees. We all came home properly muddy which is always a sign of a successful doggy outing.Melissa C.

55This is a great spot! Our dogs loved sniffing around and exploring the hills. One of our dogs especially enjoyed sniffing the old black pick up - probably lots of interesting smells in there. There was a nice, wide trail to walk on. We’ll be back again! Virginia W.

55Piper did not care that it was 20 degrees yesterday. She had a blast on her first Sniff Spot adventure!! She loved being free to run whenever she wanted, but would stop every so often and wait for Mom to catch up.
And the smells. So many new smells for her little nose to investigate!
Piper’s trip was topped off with some play time with the host’s dog. Freye? was amazing! She gave Pipes some space at first when she was completely in awe of (terrified by) her size. But they sniffed it out and took off to play.
Freye was so gentle. They ran around, chased each other and Freye showed Piper some new spots to explore.

55Always a great time. Nice little forested loop I have enjoyed with different friends and their dogs. My little kids always love exploring and feeling like they went on a big scenic adventure. Nico really enjoyed the path and the slight elevation gave us good exercise as well. The tall grass near the driveway was a huge hit as you can see in the pictures. Nico is still learning recall so I was careful about keeping him on leash near the driveway, but the property is nicely tucked away in the trees and Nico never seemed inclined to push the boundaries. Freya's Playground is an absolutely lovely Sniffspot that we will happily visit again. Eric left out bug spray, a sprinkler, a tripod, and lots of toy options. Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers).
